That .war file could not be deployed because java is not enabled on your account. To request java and then check the status of your request go to the java button in your cPanel. Please be aware that since you picked the Johnny server the wait to receive java access is quite long due to high demand. The wait to receive java on Tommy is generally just a few hours. If you're in a hurry we recommend moving your account to Tommy. If you want to save yourself some work an admin can move your account for you if you're a donor. Just let us know the transaction ID.

The primary admin who handles this sort of request (Krydos) has been very busy with other non-HelioHost things recently. There's currently nobody around who knows how to do this. As soon as he sees this he'll activate it for you.

[Solved] Installation of perl module : Crypt::Random
wolstech replied to micou's topic in Escalated Requests
Never seen this one before. Krydos might know what's wrong with it, or at least get the module installed for you. Moving so he sees this -
By default, we don't allow remote connections. Our admin Krydos has to manually enable it per database and user if you want that to work. What IP addresses do you want access from (or do you want it to work from any)?

Don't use that link as it won't count for inactivity. You need to use https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/ without the stuff after it, that ending of index.html is why it's not counting. The login form should not appear on a page ending in .html or it will not count.

You can't. It's a security measure that's required to verify you own the domain. For some domains, you may need to contact it's registrar to have the NS records changed. If you really can't change them, the most you'll be able to do is set that domain as your main domain and set an A record on the domain pointed to your account's shared IP. Please be aware that mail, subdomains, and other features that rely on additional dns records will not function if configured in this manner.

There only one admin who can do this (Krydos), and he's been busy with other stuff lately. He'll set this up when he sees the post.

[Solved] How to set the context path of my war to "/".
wolstech replied to rakesh73's topic in Escalated Requests
It's to do with the fact that the Tomcat installation is shared between numerous users on our servers. I'll pass this onto Krydos to be sure, but I've never known of this being done on our system. WARs typically have to be inside a folder prefixed with the account username. -
[Solved] How to set the context path of my war to "/".
wolstech replied to rakesh73's topic in Escalated Requests
You can't. WAR files cannot be assigned as the default page for a domain. You'll instead need to create an index file or other redirect and point users to the virtual folder where the WAR file is deployed. Place that file in the document root so when users visit http://beepr.heliohost.org/ they're redirected to your WAR file. Any redirect script would work, for instance an HTML file with a Javascript on it, an .htaccess file, or a PHP script with a header("Location: ..."); would all work fine for this. -

[Solved] suspended due to inactivity
wolstech replied to mybot's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Your account was archived because you haven't logged in for quite a while. We have a limited amount of space on our servers, and occasionally we have to remove the unused accounts to make space for new users. To prevent your account from becoming archived again please remember to log in at https://www.heliohost.org/login/ at least once every 30 days. Unarchiving... -
You were blocked for failed cPanel logins. If you use https://heliohost.org/login/ , this won't happen to you. Unblocked.

The invitation has been resent. Please use it quickly, they expire in 48 hours. Also, I've canceled the Johnny account ebad you signed up for that was still queued to be created since I needed the email address free for the invite. As for the other account, you're only allowed one account. If you had two before, you were violating our Terms of Service. If you prefer, I can unarchive the second account and move it to Tommy instead, however you won't be allowed to create a new Tommy account with the invite if you do this.

This post will do. Moving so Krydos can enable it for you.

Did you request ASP.NET support? It has to be turned on for your account before it'll work.

Your account was suspended for inactivity, because you haven't logged into your account in the last 30 days. To reactivate your account, please visit http://www.heliohost.org/renew. To prevent this from happening in the future please remember to visit https://heliohost.org/ to log into your account at least once every 30 days. If you are still seeing the Account Suspended page after renewing your account, please clear your cache.

It actually doesn't work right for me...I'm getting emails with the wrong FROM and REPLY-TO set in them. They arrive from whichever domain I access the script from, not the domain that I have coded in the file. Gmail account being used, and the ones from rax2.heliohost.org go to Spam as well... You can upload the pictures to imgur.com and post the links.

MySQL over SSL is not supported. We tried to make it work a while back when someone else asked about this, and ultimately we discovered that it was not compatible with something (I believe it was cPanel itself...)

[Solved] [suspended due to inactivity
wolstech replied to bunagi's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should start working within 12 hours. -
That's odd...the server is indeed setting the "FROM" and REPLY-TO based on the domain you use to access the page that sent the mail, not the headers you specify... Try sending yourself something using http://si3.raxsoft.com/mailtest.php and it will arrive from si3.raxsoft.com despite my headers being set to raxsoft.com. The same script accessed here sends email that arrives from rax2.heliohost.org: http://rax2.heliohost.org/si3/mailtest.php (same exact script as above, it ignores my FROM and REPLY-TO headers that are set to raxsoft.com/ ). Please ignore the PHP warning when you submit the test script, it's because I didn't configure the classloader right, it's unimportant for our testing. Escalating.

Did it use InnoDB for the storage engine? If so, it's possible they were lost during the migration due to the InnoDB damage on Johnny. If they were MyISAM engine, Krydos would need to take a look at it to find out where they went.
-
The emails always come from tommy.heliohost.org. Many mail providers will honor the "From" headers you set, but some of them no longer do to help stop abuse. I'd check your code and/or the help for the mail provider you're sending mail to. I just sent myself a test email from Tommy and it arrived to a Gmail mailbox just fine. It showed as being from my custom headers (noreply@raxsoft.com), not from Tommy.

[Solved] Server transfer request: Tommy -> Ricky
wolstech replied to webdevsemo's topic in Customer Service
You've been moved to Ricky. It may take up to 2 hours for the domains to start working. Also, I don't believe you used them, but if you had Java or ASP.NET on your account, these features have been removed since they are not offered on Ricky. -
