  1. The account has been moved to Tommy. Krydos needs to enable the ASP.NET support for you now. @Krydos: Johnny failed to clean up httpd.conf for his account during the move. Not sure if this will be an issue or not. The account did move to Tommy though. User: loretojr Domain: loretojr.heliohost.org Failed to lock httpd.conf and associated files: Cpanel::Exception::Timeout/(XID nv4s8m) The system failed to lock the file “/etc/apache2/conf/httpd.conf” after 301 seconds. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Exception/CORE.pm line 336. 2. What version of Python, and what server? Krydos can install this for you, but we need to know where.
  3. Verify that the file permissions are set to 644. That's the number one cause of 500 errors.
  4. It says it's active even though it's showing a suspended page. Suspending and unsuspending it didn't help, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Let's have Krydos take a look.
  5. Did you change the file permissions to 644? Files uploaded over SFTP are 664 (note the second six) and need to be changed. The server will not execute scripts with permissions of 664. Also, try renaming your htaccess, file so it's ignored and try again.
  6. I'll process this when I get to a computer. Krydos has to do the Asp.net install though, and we do not support Ruby on Rails anymore.
  7. This is disabled by default and has to be requested for each database, user, and ip that needs it. What database, DB user, and IPs (or you can allow any IP) need remote access?
  8. Forget cloudflare for now and just use our name servers. Add the domain to your account as an alias, and wait 12 hours. After that, clear your cache and verify it works. If you are able to view it via a proxy but not from your normal connection, try a different connection (e.g. a cell phone on using its data plan instead of your home internet). Many ISPs cache our queued pages, and there's nothing you or us can do except wait until those caches expire.
  9. Inactivity accounts sometimes take several hours to unsuspend. If it's still showing suspended in 12 hours, let us know and I'll have Krydos manually unsuspend it.
  10. You were suspended for inactivity. Please make sure you log in once every 30 days. Unsuspended.
  11. $1 minimum, you can donate here: https://www.heliohost.org/donate/ Please post your username and transaction ID if you donate so we can move you.
  12. Two factor authentication has been removed from the account rajdis.
  13. Tommy is meant as a fast production server, whereas Johnny is meant for experimentation and other tasks where uptime and speed are not important. As for features, Tommy and Johnny are similar. The differences in features are primarily just the availability of ASPX support and AutoSSL on Tommy at this point. In the past, Johnny offered older ASPX and Ruby on Rails for those who needed it, but these are no longer offered.
  14. Unblocked. It was for failed SFTP logins, so check the password in your FTP client for mistakes.
  15. The eu.org service has known compatibility issues with cPanel, especially when you're using subdomains more than one level deep. We usually recommend that domains from eu.org be your main domain. Alternately, they must be added by an admin. The system successfully parked (aliased) the domain “distribure.in.eu.org” on top of the domain “distribure.cf”. The domain distribure.in.eu.org has been manually parked to the account rajdis and should start working within the next few minutes.
  16. Pretty much anything else...PHP, Java, Perl, and Python come to mind. Tommy offers free accounts at midnight UTC each day, but they're basically a lottery considering they fill in about 15 seconds due to demand. Donating will get you a Tommy account without the hassle of trying to get a free one. $1 will get you an invite for Tommy, and $6 will get you an invite to Tommy plus double space (2000MB) on the Tommy account. Note that ASPX has to be requested on Tommy, so please post on the forum asking for it after you create the account if you want that.
  17. Last I heard, ASP.net is only available on Tommy now.
  18. You can't. This error is usually a result of one of two things. Either the server is overloaded, or your code is poorly written and you need to fix your code so it's closing the connections when it's done with them.
  19. You can see where the DoS attack ended here: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ Notice all the load and Apache downtime disappearing abruptly in the evening around 9PM UTC on Sunday June 24...
  20. Johnny is just slow due to load. If you’re just using our server for remote MySQL, Ricky might be suitable for you. Tommy will perform best, but Ricky is easier to get a free account on than Tommy. If you donate $1 or more though, you get a Tommy account automatically.
  21. Check the file permissions. They need to be 644 in order to work. Also, be sure the script isn’t just erroring out (look for a file called error_log in the same folder for the error details).
  22. Try “plain” (no encryption) FTP, port 21. Use cPanel username and password for credentials. A lot of networks at places like work or school block the port used by SFTP.
