@Luigi: It was moved back to Tommy. His username is the same as the forum. The account is indeed not working right, and I don't see any reason why...

Please keep in mind that you need to install ClassicPress as well to make the installation compatible if you're using 5.x. The plugin only natively works up through 4.9

Your account was suspended because Wordpress is causing too much load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. This is really common for Wordpress. It can cause massive amounts of load even if you're hardly getting any traffic to your site. Wordpress is also incredibly insecure and very easy to hack. We see Wordpress accounts get hacked all the time and usually the hacker sets up a phishing site on your domain. We strongly recommend using any software other than Wordpress. Something that might help is this simply static Wordpress plugin. It will speed up your site, reduce the load you cause, and reduce your chance of getting hacked. If you try it let us know how it worked out for you. If you insist on using Wordpress you might want to consider purchasing a VPS instead. VPS hosting gives you an entire virtual server to yourself, including no load limits, a dedicated IP address, and full root access. Wordpress sites load relatively slowly on our shared hosting, but they will be much faster on a VPS.

Yes it is. If they use too much memory, move to Johnny, and still need too much over there (the limits over there are more lax than Tommy), it means the software they're running is too heavy for our free services. There are very few applications that experience this problem. WP just happens to be the most common of them. We usually recommend a VPS in those cases so they can have a server to themselves. Even the $4/month cheapest VPS we offer will run WP far better than our free service, and it can't get suspended since you have an entire server to yourself. To give an idea, the top five causes of load suspensions and issues here are these: Running Wordpress."Hug of death" (site suddenly gets tons of traffic due to something like being posted on reddit...)Running poorly written or broken code such as scripts that get stuck in infinite loops (this one usually causes CPU issues too).Running a video conversion/download site (or anything else that uses ffmpeg).Running a proxy.

Krydos can help you with that. The best way to get support for a VPS is to reply to the email you received with the login information. Krydos is the one who provides VPS support.

Wordfence is one of the worst offenders in terms of making WP too heavy (woocommerce is probably the other bad one we see most). My first recommendation beyond just dropping WP entirely would be to uninstall wordfence.

It is possible to add a handler to make HTML files process as PHP, but the typical recommendation is to do what maicol07 said and change the extension to .php

VPS logins are done over SSH, not in a browser. It's a raw linux installation that you have to configure. A browser won't work since there's no web server on a VPS until you install one...

Use the full backup button under the Backup settings in cPanel. That will give you all of your files and your database, which you can use to restore the site on your new host. https://johnny.heliohost.org:2083/frontend/paper_lantern/backup/index.html As I said in my original post, WP won't run well (or in your case due to it being so bloated, at all), on Johnny.

Glad to see it fixed itself. It was probably busy working on the updates or something, or maybe it disk checked?

This account was already moved to Johnny by somebody else and unsuspended. Once Wordpress is gone, let us know and we can look at moving you back to tommy.

Unblocked. It can take up to 10 minutes to be effective. It was for failed cPanel logins. If you use https://heliohost.org/login/ , login failures won't cause an IP block.

High wordpress load for the fourth time. There's three choices considering that: I can unsuspend you and move you to Johnny where the load won't matter so much. You can keep your account active, but the downside is poor uptime and speed. Your site will likely be down more than up due to the speed of Johnny and the resources needed for WP.I can unsuspend you and disable your website so only cPanel works. This way you can back up your account. If you want to get the website working, you would need to remove Wordpress and request that. The downside here is your website is down.I can delete Wordpress for you and unsuspend your account, with the understanding that you're forbidden from using Wordpress. This way you get to keep your Tommy account, but downside is your wordpress installation will be permanently deleted. Please let me know which one you want.

It's not for high load, it's because the system thinks you have more than one account. Our terms of service limits users to one account. Since you only mention this one and the other one is still suspended, I'll just unsuspend you.

[Inactive] How to get heliohost.org subdomain?
wolstech replied to blueyesk's topic in Customer Service
The subdomains are .heliohost.us now. You can get one by setting your main domain to one with the change domain script: http://heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain The legacy .org domains are no longer available. Any accounts that already have one can keep it, but if they change it or delete their account, they can't be gotten back without assistance. Do you have proof of your old domain? If so I can reassign it manually. -
Unsuspended. Also, the nmbtech account has been suspended.
-
It's suspended for both high wordpress load and having multiple accounts... First, you're only allowed one account. If I unsuspend this, nmbtech will end up suspended instead. You can host more than one website on the same account though. You're using eu.org, so I would have to help you combine both sites into a single account (eu.org is incompatible with cpanel, so I have to set it up for you to make it work). If they don't fit in the disk space limit, you can purchase more disk space for the account at a rate of $5 for 1000MB (with a maximum of 5000MB per user). Second, Wordpress was causing too much load. This is really common for Wordpress. It can cause massive amounts of load even if you're hardly getting any traffic to your site. Wordpress is also incredibly insecure and very easy to hack. We see Wordpress accounts get hacked all the time and usually the hacker sets up a phishing site on your domain. You just log into the Johnny account cpanel Lily's activity timer follows the cpanel account it's attached to (your Johnny account), so keeping that current automatically keeps Lily current.

Done. You might need to clear your cache or close your browser and reopen it to see the change. For what it's worth, the trigger for this bug is usually accessing your PMs while on a cell phone.

It can take a little while for the deployment to work once you run it (there's a bunch of things that have to happen in the background, one of which I think is an Apache restart if it's the first time deploying a file with that specific name). If it doesn't deploy and start working within a few hours, let us know.

First things first, you need to remove cloudflare and set your domain's name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. We can't provide proper support for accounts that use it because they're impossible to troubleshoot DNS issues on. Second, you need to request Java access if you haven't already. There's a button in cPanel under "Software" to do that. Then you need to wait in line for it to be installed (estimate is 3 days right now on Tommy, but it may take more or less time depending on load, the number of people in line in front of you, and the number of people who lose it for things like nonuse or getting suspended). Once it's installed, you either upload JSP files into your account, or if you have a .war file, the page where you initially requested Java will have an option to deploy a war file instead.

What version of PHP are you using?
