  1. Currently all the accounts are stuck in the queued state. http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...amp;#entry59333 If your account is still down after this is resolved, post back here.
  2. Guys, the root admin has stuff to do and so resolving this bug might take a few days. That's why it might occur more than once in a day. The Support Admins are doing what we can to bring the sites up as quickly as they go down in the meantime. Please be patient.
  3. @resonance11: This issue has already been identified. Please post your issue in the correct forum, don't clutter the News: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...amp;#entry59333
  4. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  5. http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...amp;#entry59314 We're working on it. This is an old bug that's probably popping up because of recent changes. Please be patient.
  6. Try this. Also, be very careful about hosting mission-critical sites here. I had a website hosted here back in high school that was my 10th grade thesis. The server went down the day I had to present. Keep backups.
  7. Aren't you an admin? Lol? Right, Byron is, and you are not. Every time that image loads, server resources are being used. Yes this is minimal with something simple like Bryon's script, but letting users put anything they want in their sigs sets a scary precedent, especially when like Bryon said, the image is reserved for admins. As per my original post, my question was exactly that--a question. I wasn't accusing you of anything. If you can give a good reason regarding why you need the server load image in your signature, then I'll probably allow it. However, simply "why not?" does not seem like a reasonable argument to me. @rvt that's probably a better idea than what we have now. Someone should talk to djbob about hosting stats onsite (heliohost.org.)
  8. It looks fine. Clear your cache.
  9. Um... Redhat based Linux distributions (like CentOS) are probably the most widely used web server distros. Don't be a zealot.
  10. Well now you just made everything complicated. The reason why it was queued was that there was a bug with the server that /everyone/ had. I fixed that like two hours ago. ...and why do you have the server load in your sig?
  11. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  12. Djbob fixed this bug months ago, dunno why this happened. @jje # the following command shouldn't return anything but the your process. I.e. if there are two lines, you shouldn't run the command after that. sudo su -c "ps aux | grep bihourly" sudo /root/bash/heliohost_nightly
  13. Oh weird. Let's see if I can fix this...
  14. What OS is charlie running? If it's debian based, you could have multiple versions of python. (I have 5 on my ubuntu install) Then you could have all the other programs use /usr/bin/python and have wsgi use /usr/bin/python2.7. Of course, I've never run a web server, so there's probably some silly thing that makes my idea totally ineffective. It's running CentOS which uses a RPM based packaging system (Think Redhat/Fedora), not DEB packages (Debian/Ubuntu). @djbob: no chance you could compile from source?
  15. Not yet, as a far as I know, the second server is still being configured for hosting.
  16. Wrong forum, moved. We're probably blacklisted by a few places. I know we've had trouble with our email addresses and gmail/hotmail. Also, China's firewall likes to block us. Usually when something like the latter happens, you post here and we give you another IP address.
  17. Why not just add the domain to your account as a Parked Domain on cPanel? The effect is the same.
  18. User xanxus is my account, the only form of identification i can think of now is the email i recieved to inform me of my successful registration, is that good enough? if so can i have an email address which i can forward to you to take a look? @Whoever's handling this: Send an email to that address to confirm.
  19. Don't think Ubuntu ships with SELinux.
