The domain has been added. Here are the DNS records we would use for DKIM, SPF, and DMARC if you were using our nameservers. You can copy them over to your external DNS if you want. yieldandco.com. 14400 IN TXT "v=spf1 ip4:64.62.151.106 ip6:2001:470:1:1ee::2009 ~all" _dmarc 14400 IN TXT "v=DMARC1; p=quarantine" _domainkey.yieldandco.com. 14400 IN TXT "o=-" default._domainkey.yieldandco.com. 14400 IN TXT ( "v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEAu3Obrx3rMwBWAcYrNHQi6whLuUAIMKDoqYpnHarAMc6vtRFlhX8yqG5yh3HXrcx9VyfxoK8LxSr9jdwLz+uXHvwXipIgCTFQ0RiKJespyW41hCHgChKLeqohlU+HDFezpzm9OmQswmsj9cD1wM7aqO7HjnHf8AByekHgpEDvpNrBKomnQoVLgV4DEMl5RAesm" "HsQaX1z3Ot5V+b6m4npxo9TZlhsWpTlmX4uY8NZkrsoIu4p8gmaCvk4oOdRGLaHKFjon3hqAohpluiEaBqbbhnfO3UGoqUBy4hWvQO29sMydUR71OTmGsbQ7A2ujLjEKNya5VIZeKxRajVUKQPq1QIDAQAB;" ) If you want emails to this domain to be delivered to your Johnny account you'll also need to set your MX record to johnny.heliohost.org. If you'd like to use webmail on Johnny you can enable that through Plesk, and then it should start working after the next Apache restart. Let us know if you have any questions.

Remote access was already enabled for that database, and the remote access was transferred to Morty when your account was moved. The problem is you're using the host "morty.heliohost.org" and you should be using the host "65.19.154.94". Thanks for translating it to English for me. host=65.19.154.94 port=5432 user=camilogeo_admin dbname=camilogeo_gis password=<set in Plesk>

I can't read that language. Let us know if there is something we can help you with.

You're being moved to Morty. Your trial will end on 2025-08-26. The postgis extension has been created on the camilogeo_gis database.

According to my research PayPal does work in Egypt, but you can't send or receive money via "friends or family" which is fine for us because we always use "services or goods" for payments anyways. If someone asks you to send them money via PayPal as "friends or family" it is probably a scam because there is no buyer protection and you won't be able to dispute the payment. We also have Stripe which we are planning on integrating into our website at some point. We already allow people to donate for Tommy, make a Morty purchase, or set up a VPS subscription using Stripe payment links, but it's not integrated into our website yet. People just have to ask us for a link.

[Solved] VPS Subscription Renewal (and Morty Account top up)
Krydos replied to msbsurfi's topic in Escalated Requests
I tested the download speed of your VPS and found it to be about 93.1 MB/s: root@vps112:~# wget https://heliohost.org/speedtest/100MB.bin --2025-08-19 00:26:03-- https://heliohost.org/speedtest/100MB.bin Resolving heliohost.org (heliohost.org)... 65.19.141.66 Connecting to heliohost.org (heliohost.org)|65.19.141.66|:443... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK Length: 104857600 (100M) [application/octet-stream] Saving to: ‘100MB.bin’ 100MB.bin 100%[====================================================================================================>] 100.00M 93.1MB/s in 1.1s 2025-08-19 00:26:04 (93.1 MB/s) - ‘100MB.bin’ saved [104857600/104857600] I also tested the speed of Morty, which is on a faster hard drive array, which is slightly faster at 104 MB/s: root@morty [~]# wget https://heliohost.org/speedtest/100MB.bin --2025-08-18 18:27:39-- https://heliohost.org/speedtest/100MB.bin Resolving heliohost.org (heliohost.org)... 65.19.141.66 Connecting to heliohost.org (heliohost.org)|65.19.141.66|:443... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK Length: 104857600 (100M) [application/octet-stream] Saving to: ‘100MB.bin’ 100MB.bin 100%[====================================================================================================>] 100.00M 104MB/s in 1.0s 2025-08-18 18:27:40 (104 MB/s) - ‘100MB.bin’ saved [104857600/104857600] The difference in speed only makes 100 MB download take a tenth of a second longer though. I wouldn't say that 93.1 MB/s is annoyingly slow though. Seems pretty fast to me. -
Johnny doesn't support PostGIS because he's too old. Same with Tommy. Right now only Morty and VPS plans support PostGIS. If you'd like to make sure Morty can do what you need we can give you a week trial, and if everything works the way you want you can make a payment to stay on that server. We will be upgrading Tommy and Johnny to support PostGIS too, but it may be a few months out still.

Yep, that was pretty dumb.

Yeah, I'm curious what you have to say about this too.

[Solved] VPS Subscription Renewal (and Morty Account top up)
Krydos replied to msbsurfi's topic in Escalated Requests
Your balance was $2.7100 plus $6.00 means you're at $8.7100 now. Your old subscription has been canceled so it will stop trying and failing to bill you, and your new subscription has been linked to your VPS. Your VPS now expires on 2025-02-15. I noticed you randomly received a verified review link on 2025-07-25. We would really appreciate it if you could spend a minute or two to click the link in the email and leave a 5 star review. Since we're a small non-profit powered by donations we don't have a budget for advertising so 5 star reviews like this goes a long way towards finding new customers, and only takes a bit to write a sentence or two about your experience using our hosting. We recommend using the link in the email to leave a verified review because 5 star reviews that don't use the verified link pretty much all get deleted. Thanks for the payments. Let us know if you need help with anything else. -
[Solved] VPS Subscription Renewal (and Morty Account top up)

The saved Visa card ending with 9921 failed to bill as you expected. Here is a link to pay for another 6 months of Mercury VPS. https://buy.stripe.com/5kAaEWf8t68GeKkdQQ -
Deleted.

No problem. Thanks for reporting the issue. It was due to a bug in the code which has been fixed, and future Morty signups should work for other people now.

Try the new invite I just sent you.

10 heliohost.us or helioho.st domains. If you buy a .com or whatever and use external DNS you can have as many domains as you want.

Added.

No, if the payment fails we will email you and give you a chance to make a new payment before the VPS is powered off. -
[Solved] VPS Subscription Renewal (and Morty Account top up)
Krydos replied to msbsurfi's topic in Escalated Requests
I took a look at Stripe and your subscription is still active, and it should bill $21.60 automatically on August 14th. If it fails for some reason we'll contact you and you can set up a new subscription. Here is the link to make a Stripe payment of $5 towards your Morty account. https://buy.stripe.com/7sI8wOe4p40y9q0147 -
Installed. You can see the current list of installed modules and their versions for Johnny's Python 3.12 at https://krydos2.heliohost.org/pyinfo/info3.12.py

There are supposed to be about 1300 binary executables in /bin for example. On your VPS there are only 19 left. Seems something deleted most of them, which decimated your operating system rendering your VPS unusable. I looked around a bit, but didn't see any obvious signs of being hacked, so not sure what happened. It's possible some code went haywire and deleted the wrong thing if you were running it as root. This is why it's always recommended to run software, even software you wrote yourself, as a user with limitations, not root.

If you're in the market for a new domain, we do have an affiliate program with Namecheap. Right now, you can get a .com for only $6.49 using the code NEWCOM649 and we will get $1.28 from the sale. For instance here is an available o1mark1.com https://heliohost.org/partners/namecheap/ You might have to disable your ad blocker (if you use one) because they tend to block affiliate links. If you get a cheap domain that is only about $1 we would still get about $0.23 for you using the affiliate link. It's not much for a single sale, but as you can imagine if thousands of people buy their domains with our affiliate link it starts to add up.

We don't add sub-subdomains to the default vps## domains. That's why I suggested something without vps35 in it.
