  1. You're supposed to wait 24 hours, not 1 hour and 20 minutes. Be patient.
  2. I would suggest you try accessing the site from multiple proxies. If a significant amount time out like you do at home, then you know it's a problem with HelioHost. Otherwise, if it's only your home site that's timing out, then you probably have an issue from your side.
  3. Please see this topic. I'm working on this issue right now. Anyways, your subdomain should show up in cPanel within 24 hours after you tried to create it, regardless of that error. Let me know if it doesn't show up.
  4. It doesn't seem to be happening now... I can't exactly fix the problem if I can't repro it.
  5. I believe that that error is related to the ones above. Everyone: please note that this error is non-fatal. That means that although it tells you an error occurred, the operation should complete successfully within 24 hours. Please let me know if that is not the case.
  6. Sorry, but register_globals is a security risk and is deprecated as of PHP 5.3. For more information as to why it is a concern, please read this article from the PHP folks.
  7. Are you sure that cPanel shows your Rails application as running? Did you follow the directions on this page?
  8. ns1.heliohost.org is 65.19.143.4, and ns2.heliohost.org is 65.19.143.5.
  9. Surprisingly, your account had a corrupted database entry. This is very rare; regardless, I have corrected the issue and you should be able to unsuspend your account. Please try renew.php just one more time. Also, congratulations on being one of our longest users!
  10. Are you sure it isn't working? When I type that URL in, I get:
  11. Perhaps you need root privileges for that particular gem. I've installed it from the root console; let me know if your application is working now.
  12. You should be able to use Google Apps. Has your MX record activated yet? Take a look in your cPanel and try to configure them with Google Apps.
  13. What is your domain name and HelioHost username?
  14. Sorry guys, but I'm still on the line with cPanel. They're talking to the QA/Dev folks apparently. I'm doing my best with this issue, but they're being rather stubborn.

    Oh noez!11~!`1
  16. Topic moved. As stated in bold, red text the "Contact HelioNet" forum is NOT for HelioHost support.
  17. Could you try one more time?
  18. Everything should be okay now. Go ahead and try signing up again
  19. If you just wait a day, the domain should activate, regardless of the error. Let me know if you're okay in 24 hours.
  20. Looks like older versions of Joomla have some sort of exploit that these hackers utilized. Regardless, they haven't retrieved any passwords or anything. I've updated to most recent version; hopefully everything should be safe now.
  21. Actually, I'm still arguing with cPanel as of right now. They are making up excuses that I am confident are illegitimate, but I don't think I'm going to get anywhere with them.
  22. Oops, my bad. I accidentally mistyped the variable containing the text of the email you were sent. Your account has been suspended because you didn't log in to your cPanel for a while. Simply type your username in over here and it should be reactivated. Let me know how that goes. Sorry about the mix-up.
  23. You haven't been using this account for two years if you just got a signup email.
