  1. HelioHost currently doesn't offer ASP.NET . However, djbob is working on getting ASP.NET back up in the next few weeks.
  2. Some links such as http://heliohost.org:2082 is now obsolete and doesn't work due to the move from Stevie to Charlie. djbob recommends you login through the homepage.
  3. Your welcome. I hope you have a pleasant experience with HelioHost.
  4. This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Just wait for djbob now.
  5. No, no. The move shouldn't affect anything. So far, HelioHost.org and HelioNet.org are completely seperate from the other sites on HelioHost. We are planning on opening signups for Charlie as soon as it's setup. This problem was probably due to a high server load (look in my sig). Hopefully these problems will be rare when Charlie is up and running.
  6. You can add a sub domain or addon domain via cPanel. Below is a description of both. Sub Domain - Say you had a website (domain.com). If you added a sub domain, it would be something similar to sub.domain.com . Addon Domain - Say you had a website (domain.com). If you added an addon domain, it wod be something similar to other.com (a completely different domain). The difference between Addon and Parked domains, is that Parked domains reflect other domains, while Addon Domains are totally seperate. Hope this helps.
  7. I've just taken a look at your site, breakthesecurity.heliohost.org, and got a page called Testing. Most of the time these errors are just temporary - is it working now?
  8. Your doing everything right, except the host (cabra.hathix.com) should be either: - 'localhost' if you're connecting locally. - 'stevie.heliohost.org' if you're connecting remotely. If you're connecting remotely you need to enable Remote SQL in cPanel. Moving to 'Questions'.
  9. Please post all requests for domain changes here. Before posting, please read all of the following information: Although we can manually change your main domain, we recommend that you add your new domain through your cPanel via Parked Domains (or Addon Domains). This means that you will keep your old domain, yet simultaneously be using your new domain without noticing. This will not change your main domain however, and you might want your old domain to be completely deleted. If this is what you want, then please post here. Before you post, please add the following nameservers to your domain via your domain registrar: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org If posting, remember to include - Your current domain - Your new domain - Your cPanel username For addon domain issues, please post in the ADDON DOMAIN ISSUES topic. Your main domain will be changed without any further confirmation. Main domain changes are manual, so please be patient. Please take a look at this topic incase your question is answered here.
  10. We can change your main domain if you like. However, we recommend that you add your new domain as a 'Parked Domain' in cPanel, as it means you get to keep your .heliohost.org domain too - plus it's completely automated. I'm not sure what you mean by 'some plugins not working' - could you please post the problem in detail? Please set the nameservers of your .co.cc domain to: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org Thanks
  11. Oops - okay. Thanks djbob!
  12. I'm not sure if you understood my post. I have tried Web Disk with my own website and it is working perfectly - I can't find any server-side problems. Web Disk is supported by HelioHost and is available to the users of HelioHost.
  13. As I have no experience with Ubuntu or anything related to Ubuntu, I may not be able to help you with this one. By the error you have given related to Web Disk, I believe that you did not input a correct username and password, or didn't input a username and password at all.
  14. This is an old thread, so I'm unpinning it and closing it. I've added a link to the stats on the C.A.Q guide.
  15. Ok - thanks Byron. The webdisk address is http://yourdomain.heliohost.org:2077 (replace yourdomain.heliohost.org with your own domain). The username and password are the same as the ones you use to login to cPanel.
  16. Ok. Hang on - I just tried Web Disk with my site and it worked perfectly?
  17. @byron - WebDisk was disabled by djbob because it was unpopular and was putting pressure on the server.
  18. FTP is a useful alternative to Web Disk. It is basically the same as WebDisk except it is less secure. I believe FTP can be setup the same way as WebDisk (from experience in Windows) - I just enter ftp://ftp.yourdomain.heliohost.org and use your cPanel username and password. However, I recommend you use an FTP client such as FileZilla. When using FileZilla, use ftp.yourdomain.heliohost.org (without the ftp://). Hopefully by using FTP you won't experience any more problems.
  19. Python might be updated when Charlie is configured, but unfortunately cPanel can be incompatible with many new versions of softwares such as Python. Let's see what djbob thinks... This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  20. The reason is that the server has to create 100 accounts every day, which can take a while. That is the reason behind the singup limit - so the server doesn't get overloaded with accounts. There are currently 50 accounts in the queue which are currently being created. If you are experiencing problems please post your cPanel username and domain
  21. Strange - your website is appearing as 'Suspended' even though the database is showing your account as 'Active'. I am being told that you last logged in on the 11th Feb, meaning that you couldn't have been suspended for inactivity. The renew script also isn't reporting your account to be Suspended, even though your site is showing it. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  22. I'm not seeing your account in the database. It might have been deleted for inactivity. If you didn't break the Terms of Service, then you are free to create another account.
  23. Moving to Customer Service. Another Support Admin might be able to help you with this, but I see no reason why you would need to reset your account.
  24. If you seriously want to do this, hire a real developer. Even though you could pay for a developer to make a professional site, many services that a developer offers can already be added to your site for free using a CMS (or any other softwares in Softaculous).
  25. djbob will be able to give your site another IP, which will make your site accessible from China. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
