  1. Parked Domains can be used for using multiple domains with your account such as .co.cc . These are available to all users and is NOT prohibited. You need to add the following nameservers in your .co.cc domain: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org I went to www.roxfriends.co.cc and .co.cc reported that the domain hadn't been registered. Domains on .co.cc are deleted if nameservers are not added within a couple of days and need to be registered again.
  2. @Geoff : I think that that link will be obsolete when Charlie is up and running. djbob recommends users login through the HelioHost homepage.
  3. Thanks! Johnny is currently being configured and we're not accepting any accounts for Johnny yet - that's why his server load is always at 0. The plan is to open signups to Johnny when the configuration process is complete. While most new accounts would be handled by Johnny, this would put pressure off Stevie meaning that Stevie wouldn't be so overloaded. At the moment, we don't have any intention of moving any current accounts to Johnny, but this could change in the future. We are constantly trying to suspend and delete users who are using around 20% of the server resources. Thanks!
  4. You could make something very similar to this using PHP. It could be complicated to make though, and could be quite consuming. You might want to use a pre-made script if one is available.
  5. I'm not seeing your account in the database - it probably got deleted for inactivity. Please feel free to sign up again. Moving to Customer Service.
  6. Following on from what byron said... It is best to login from the HelioHost homepage.
  7. Yeah, this should be resolved soon. This is usually caused by a user abusing HelioHost, djbob working on the server, or a generally large amount of users accessing HelioHost sites.
  8. Don't worry - I like helping people out on HelioNet. At the moment Stevie's server load is ridiculously high, which has caused no access to cPanel and lots of Internal Server Errors. This can be caused when djbob is working on the server, somebody's abusing the server, or alot of people are generally using HelioHost. If your site is hosted on HelioHost, the hostname is localhost. If your site isn't hosted on HelioHost, the hostname is stevie.heliohost.org. MySQL Databases can be configured within cPanel. An example configuration would be: Hostname: localhost Username: jje_user Password: pass123 Database: jje_db Hope you are having a pleasant experience with HelioHost!
  9. Is it working ok now? Stevie's server load is now ridiculously high - we're trying to prevent this from happening by getting Charlie up and running A.S.A.P. This high server load can be caused by work being done on the server, generally alot of users using HelioHost, or somebody abusing our services. High server load leads to lots of 500 Internal Server Errors. Sorry for any inconvenience.
  10. Stevie's server load is ridiculously high at the moment, meaning that these errors are likely to occur. It is very rare for Stevie's server load to be so high, and we are working to lower it. I'm merging two topics related to this problem into one - this topic is now in Customer Service.
  11. Hope you have a pleasant time with HelioHost! Even though on a computer 250MB is quite small, on a webserver it is plenty of space. My website has got about 6 different installations and lots of images and files yet I haven't filled up my space. WordPress and MyBB are only a few MB big, and most images are just a few KB, so space shouldn't be a problem.
  12. A Q&A Site using Questions2Answers is now in trial: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=8316
  13. Go to your domain's control panel, and point your domain to the following nameservers: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org Then, in your cPanel, go to 'Parked Domains' and add your domain. Then Voila! Your domain will become active within 24 hours!
  14. Your welcome! If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
  15. You don't need to modify anything, just use the following nameservers: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org Please don't emphasise your posts - it doesn't give you a faster reply.
  16. HelioHost does not offer Fantastico, but does offer 'Softaculous', which is basically the same as Fantastico. Softaculous is available from your cPanel.
  17. Thank you for using HelioHost! Hope you are going to have a great experience! I can see your account in the database - everything is working perfectly. Your account should be active within 48 hours.
  18. I'm not sure if I 100% understand your question, but... Couldn't you make the PHP file in Dreamweaver and then upload it to HelioHost via FTP? If you want to see the effects of PHP in the design window, then I don't think this is possible. The Design window is meant for the Design, not the effects of PHP. You could also use WAMP or XAMPP to test drive your files, as they don't require upload.
  19. IFRAMEs must be allowed because they keep your account active and stop your account automatically suspending.
  20. Could you tell us which software package you are using? If we find no solution, then I'll escalate this.
  21. Cool script, Geoff and Byron!
  22. Sorry, we do not offer any premium hosting, nor extended space.
  23. Your welcome! I'm glad your enjoying the services HelioHost provide.
  24. I am seeing all three websites fine. Please try refreshing your browser's cache.
