We as the only intelligent species in world, should protect the mother nature as much as we could, but now, we're giving it a counter effect, we're destroying it!! If you asked for my opinion, I would prefer the Great Flood to come as soonest as possible, to make the Earth reborn, and everything shall be start all over again.

I like these 2 sentences.. First, i think you had a great point about definition of atheist, but I'm not so agree with it. In my context, atheist is someone that have his own believal others than religion. E.g. I believe in science and facts, rather than myths or legends. And most of the while, people who are atheist have better inspection, justification and mindset. Because they know how to differentiate between realistic and fantasy. (my point of view, doesn't mean that believing in God will make you lost your mind. Like what zippo said, "If people find some comfort in religion, and in the belief of god, that's ok" Secondly, as zippo said, religion only stands as a guidance for those who lost. But for someone who is mentally strong, I don't feel that we need any religion, or in other words to me, science would be my religion. Cheers!

I do believe alien exist in this universe, but they might not require oxygen for living, not even water. But some other elements that could give the same function to them as oxygen and water. And also they might not be carbon-based. Anyway, did any law state that living things defined on carbon-based? When I study on my Biology, there're 7 rules to define a living thing, there's no carbon based as I remember. Living organism must be 1. Made of cell, either unicell or multiple cells. 2. Having metabolism within its working body. 3. Be able to move, migrate 4. Be able to adapt to new environment 5. Be able to breed. 6. Requires to exchange substance within its body, i.e. breathing, eating 7. Be able to grow.

LOLZ, on my guess, you're defining it a lil' bit over. Well, the law just applies on those possible things. Actually, plants or even cockroaches have the best adaptation ability. They exists longer than us mankind. But our intelligent and creation makes us be able to change the situation we live in and hence adapt to it. But also damaging the Earth, I believe soon we will extinct again and the world shall be reborn.

Yea, I get the meaning of your question. But first think, if homosapien can theoretically evolve or adapt to a new environment, we would have found our species on the Moon or the Mars now! I don't know how to explain to you, but we human indeed have the best ability to adapt in many environment, but with a limit though. We still need oxygen, we still can't live in extreme weather, etc. Like you said, if the earth would have spun faster, things gained higher angular acceleration and lesser gravity. We might probably been throw away by this high speed rotation of Earth's. And the most important thing is the magnetic field that surround the Earth would change, causing radiation that enters the Earth increased (this is what I think, but definitely, the magnetic field strength will change) And also, the length of day is shorter, plants wouldn't be able to survive without enough photosynthesis process going on. There're plenty of reason to deny the possibilities of live to adapt in this "hellish" environment. Did you ever host any web before? Files on all web hosting are on server, if you would like to have it on your PC, there's 2 ways I could recommend. 1. Go to http://no-ip.com and take a look at the services there, it's free and you could host your own web and your domain name will be like http://yourdomain.no-ip.org. (your PC will be opened to public and threats.) 2. Get a new server like djbob did, and host your own server.

Well..... child porn I guess no one could stop that others than parents themselves. I'm still a teenager, and many of my friends starting to experience porn since quite long time ago. The place they watching porn is at home, while the time is when parents are out to work. Well.... I would prefer the add-ons that makes my life easier. If you need web space, just simply apply one and you can get up to a few dozens of GB, more than GMail for sure.
