If the PS3 never had Blu-ray in the first place, it would be fine. Pre-rendered cinematics are obsolete anyways and that's the only reason to have such a large disc capacity. The processor isn't as important as a GPU. Only exception would be the PS3's, as the SPU cores were originally designed to replace a GPU and can do things just as well.

Foobar was great on a Windows machine. My new favorite player is a combination of the Music Player Daemon, which allows you to play common music files (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, AAC, Mod, and wave files) and edit the playlist both locally and remotely. Combined with the Ncurses Media Player Client, it's the most lightweight music player you can use as it takes barely any storage space as well as RAM. Still like Amarok, though. It's still my favorite for Windoze

Thinkin' in Windows terms. Macs can only be installed and run on Apple's proprietary hardware. So that they can make the most out of a computer sale, all of their hardware is also manufactured by them, up until now that is, with the Intel Macs. They only have drivers for their own hardware. You can't just buy a Mac CD and install it on your box.

Every component in OSX has a price. While the base cost of a Mac OS X system with no extra features is at least on par with a Vista system, the extra components that make it great will make it cost so much more. On top of that, every upgrade to OS X, which is only about equivalent to a service pack in Windows, costs money. Not exactly cost-effective.

OOo is Sun's "up your's" to Microsoft. Of course it's improved over time, and will continue to improve. However, I've changed my mind about the greatness of OpenOffice.org. KOffice has now replaced OpenOffice.org on my desktop, as it is faster, takes up less space, and almost as functional.

Incorrect. By even pirating a Microsoft product, you increase Microsoft's marketshare. This allows Microsoft to make money where it really matters - big businesses and advertising. It's much easier to market something to a big corporation or draw in advertisers by having a greater marketshare. That is the reason that Google Ads is as big as it is.

And this is the reason why most people will never switch and why you'll continue to remain a slave to the Microsoft Corporation. Leopard is really no different than any other version of Mac, that is, it introduces more useless features and is still as expensive as ever. Upgrades are not free.
