  1. Hi @gsiler,

    Thank you for addressing that matter with us, as HelioHost values its users and our services' security.

    Could you tell us what page(s) you were browsing when you got those warnings?

    It is possible that an ad or a member of Arc CDN is being flagged as phishing, and with your info, our root admins could narrow down the possibilities and trace the right course of action to deal with that issue.

    For now, I am escalating your topic to our root admins, so they can check into that matter.

  2. Hi @joedamens,

    Your code is sending data through a non-secure (aka HTTP instead of HTTPS) connection and browsers do not like it these days.

    I honestly have no knowledge about Perl, but if you post your code here, I am sure someone could help you with that. At least I would be willing to try if I had the code to work on with.

    ok, but wonder why didnt it accept the password then? some appps dont like special characters maybe? (i even tried 2 different ones lol)

    edit*
    now i noticed that Ftp password actually has to be changed from somewhere else, but it only shows the file browser on the plesk dashboard for Ftp?

    I apologize, but I am not sure if I understood what you wrote after your post edition.

    The SFTP password is the same as your Plesk account, since they are, in fact, the same account, and there is no need to change it except if:

    • You want to;
    • You have lost/forgotten it;
    • It has been compromised.

    PS.: Please, share your questions/comments in the proper sections in our forum, as far as I could see, it is unrelated to HelioHost server monitor and thus should not be addressed in this topic. Usually, I would split your post into a new topic, but as I said above, I could not understand what exactly your question/doubt/issue is.

  4. Since this is not related to your previous issue (setting up DNS records for email hosting) and to keep our community organized, I have split your post into a new topic on our Website Management and Coding section.

    Now about your question, on shared hosts such as Tommy, Johnny, Ricky, Lily, and any others that may come, direct access to change Apache directives is not allowed.

    Some directives can be defined through a .htaccess file, but ProxyPass is not one of them, thus your only option is to see if Arc provides another way to set it up.

    Edit:

    I tried to create an account on that Arc to try to install it, but unfortunately, its registration requires an invitation code, so I am unable to go further on this matter.

    I received it, thanks. Though I have a question, that is an invite for jhonny, and if I don't misremember, I had a tommy account. Would I have to wait for the next spot on tommy to open or is that server not available anymore?

    Tommy is full and increasing the number of accounts hosted on it would lower its uptime/performance right now; thus, all of Tommy's cPanel migrated accounts are being placed on Johnny. That way the accounts already on Tommy will not suffer from further issues and the migrated (and newer) accounts will be placed on a server that has enough resources to keep them online and running fine.

    It worked! However it goes into both my gmail and yahoo spam folder :(

     Anyway its better than nothing, but when i checked on mailtester, it says 10/10

    If you want to, posting an email header of a spam-marked email would help us to see if there is anything else we could do to improve your chances to get right into inbox. But it is just a possibility since the receiver's server (in your case: Gmail and Yahoo!) has the final choice.

    Also: marking as "not spam" usually helps.

  7. Hello, @jugar.

    The decommissioning of Tommy's cPanel server took place on February 18, 2023. As a result of this change, you will need to retrieve your data from https://heliohost.org/backup/.

    We have sent a new invitation to your earlier email address. Please check both your inbox and spam folder and mark the email as "Not Spam" to ensure you receive future HelioHost emails if you have found it in your spam.

    If you have any issues or need help with something else, please do not hesitate to contact us.
