  1. To request java support on your account simply start a new topic following the instructions at the top of http://www.helionet.org/index/forum/74-java-requests/ I see you already figured this out on your own, but still posting the solution for anyone who searches and finds this thread.
  2. The most common reason for delayed emails is not having multiple redundant mail servers to accept the mail if the highest priority mail server is busy or offline or there is a network problem. Since Heliohost is more focused on webhosting than email hosting each account by default only has the minimum 1 MX record. You can add additional MX records using this link http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/mail/mx.html where the lowest number has highest priority and the larger the number the lower the priority. If someone sends you an email and it fails for any reason and there are no other email servers listed in your MX records it's up to the sending mail server to try resending it later or abandoning it altogether. Standards dictate that the sending server should retry for three days, but not everyone chooses to comply. I just sent an email from a gmail account to a johnny email account and it arrived within seconds. Another thing that might help is to move your account to a server with a higher uptime. Since Johnny is our experimental server it regularly has uptime of 85% to 95%. If you're interested in higher uptime you can read the instructions for moving your account here http://wiki.helionet.org/Moving_your_account
  3. Did you set up remote mysql access http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/sql/managehost.html for the IP address of this website that is hosted elsewhere?
  4. Your account is neither queued nor removed. It's actually active and you've logged into cpanel recently. If you're having trouble logging in it might be because you triggered brute force protection. If the server thought you were trying to guess your password it locks you out for a time. Your account does not currently have brute force protection enabled though so if this is what happened it already cleared on it's own. Try logging in http://heliohost.org/ once, and if it says invalid login try http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/ resetting your password once. If the password reset doesn't work let us know and we can manually reset your password.
  5. We recommend users send no more than 50 emails total per day from their accounts. If you greatly exceed this value the system automatically throttles your account to 24 emails per day (1 per hour). The most common reason for accounts to get email throttled is from not implementing adequate spam bot protection on your website. For instance, if you have a forum that sends an email each time a new user creates and account, and 1000 spam bots create accounts each day that's 1000 emails your account is sending out each day. Your account does not currently appear to be sending excessive numbers of emails so perhaps you have already fixed whatever the problem was. I have restored your normal email sending limits.
  6. There is no bandwidth limit for mysql or for http or ftp or pop3 or imap any other service. However, if you're transferring large amounts of data it causes load which we do monitor, and if you are causing enough load to adversely effect the other accounts that share your server then your account will be suspended to restore full functionality to everyone else. It isn't fair for one person on shared hosting to hog all the system resources.
  7. Does this help? Just out of curiousity I created a new impresscms installation on Johnny using softaculous. It all seems to work for me: http://krydos1.heliohost.org/impress http://krydos1.heliohost.org/impress/admin.php
  8. Please post the following information: Your cPanel username Your main domain The server that you are on
  9. I believe Shinryuu was running that contest this year. You'd have to ask him.
  10. Your account was suspended for inactivity, because you haven't logged into your account in the last 30 days. To reactivate your account, please visit http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew. To prevent this from happening in the future please remember to visit http://heliohost.org/ to log into your account at least once every 30 days. If you are still seeing the Account Suspended page after renewing your account, please clear your cache.
  11. The accounts metals has been reactivated.
  12. When did you create that subdomain? The queued domains and domain activation is a 100% automated process. Posting on the forums won't make it go any quicker. It's not like anyone can press a button and just make it work for you. Generally all new domains take up to 48 hours to come out of the queue.
  13. Probably because that email address doesn't exist. You can only create <whatever>@<a domain that you control> email addresses. If your domain was johnny.heliohost.org then that email address would make sense, but you can't create that domain because it's already in use (as the server name.) You can visit http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/mail/pops.html to create new email addresses or see the ones that you already have.
  14. http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/sql/index.html 500 MB if you don't upload anything else to your account or have any mail in any of your boxes. If you use too much database space, no you just won't be able to add anything else.
  15. Your account was suspended for the following reason: Malware. 1 file(s). PHP.Shell-38 FOUND That means that there are some malware files found on your account. For your safety and to protect your website from potential further corruption the account has been suspended. To find the infected files we recommend making a backup of your site, download the backup file to your computer, and scan the backup using a reputable virus and malware scanner. If you're having trouble locating the offending files please ask and we can provide more information. If you are you certain that it is a false-positive, we strongly encourage you to file a false positive form here: http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi Your account should be unsuspended now, but keep in mind that this is a temporary unsuspension. You have 24 hours starting at the time of this post to clean your account of any and all malicious files or your account will be resuspended.
  16. Alright, the account eoacosta has been unsuspended.
  17. Just keep it at 2 cron jobs per day or less and you won't get suspended. If you need more than 2 cron jobs per day you can use an external site such as https://www.setcronjob.com/ to run the rest.
  18. So, you're saying the account eoacosta is the account you want to keep?
  19. The account dztest has been unsuspended. You can create your own back up with this link http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/backup/index.html Once you are done downloading your backup you can then use http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/delete to delete the account. Once you have your backup and the account is queued for deletion let us know and we can unsuspend your main account again.
  20. Your password has been manually reset, tested, and emailed to your contact email address. @byron, His account was still partially suspended. After I manually suspended it, and then unsuspended it the password reset began working.

  22. The "DNS server is offline" error makes me think that your computer was trying to get the IP of johnny.heliohost.org from ns1.heliohost.org instead of ns2.heliohost.org. At the time that you posted your thread you can see http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ that ns1.heliohost.org was offline with the rest of the stevie server. I just tested webdisk on Johnny and everything is working for me. Are you still having problems connecting to webdisk? I prefer SFTP or even FTP to webdisk anyways so maybe if that works better for you just continue using it?
  23. http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
  24. Stevie and Johnny are the servers that users can create accounts on. Cody is the server that runs this forum, our wiki, and our homepage http://heliohost.org/ and Charlie basically allows us access to Johnny and Cody even if they are offline.
  25. It looks like everything is set up correctly for that account. Your account was created 17 hours ago. Domains on Johnny generally take between 24-48 hours to come out of the queued state. Give it another 24 hours from the time on this post without changing any domain settings, and let us know if it's still queued.
