[Solved] Accidentally removed .well-known - what now?
Krydos replied to cprn's topic in Escalated Requests
As is usually the case, autossl is running perfectly. The problem was his .htaccess was redirecting all traffic to the /lue/ directory. The optimal solution is to write better rules so queries to the .well-known directory aren't messed with. As a temporary fix I just renamed the .htaccess to .htaccess-old and now it works. -
The median response time for the last 4 hours is 0.024s. The mean response time for the last 4 hours is 0.319s. The reason the mean is higher is because there can be slight spikes of lag while apache is restarting. If Ricky's apache was in the middle of a restart that could be why your response took 20 seconds. We think those response times are well within the acceptable range though. Johnny is generally the slowest server, Ricky is better, and Tommy is the best. If you want the fastest response times you can get for free we recommend creating your account on Tommy.

AutoSSL doesn't work if your .htaccess file is blocking access to the verification file. 11:05:22 PM WARN The domain “laparcela.org” failed domain control validation: The system queried for a temporary file at “<a href="http://laparcela.org/.well-known/pki-validation/3CF2C348732FCC10AB9448937ABFFB53.txt">http://laparcela.org/.well-known/pki-validation/3CF2C348732FCC10AB9448937ABFFB53.txt</a>”, but the web server responded with the following error: 403 (Forbidden). [Solved] Remote access to postgres database
Krydos replied to nutrizio's topic in Escalated Requests
If you use the same name you will still have remote access. -
Setting up a recurring donation is easy. Just go to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=P63828V7WFM54 and check the box labeled "make this a monthly donation" and then proceed with the donation.

Sorry for the delay on this request. selospt.tk has been removed from your old Johnny account.

I changed your main domain but it's not going to work until your edit your .htaccess file. It's redirecting traffic to laparcela.red which doesn't exist anymore.

Remote access enabled. -
There you go https://krydos.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules37.py Thanks for noticing that. I just copy/pasted it over from Tommy without remembering to change it.

[Solved] Still awaiting invitation after donation
Krydos replied to mhanz's topic in Escalated Requests
We usually say it can take up to 24 hours for Paypal to process a transaction. It can happen a lot quicker, but this transaction has been pending for 31 hours and Paypal hasn't sent us any notification of it being completed. I'll go ahead and send the invite anyways though. Let us know if you didn't get it. -
Have you read https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/32744-2018-05-01/ ?

Glad you figured it out. I prefer to do it manually through .htaccess anyways. The cpanel interface only allows you to control it on a domain level. Manually editing your .htaccess allows you to set different php versions on a per directory level. Fixed. That was just an error in php.ini trying to load the apcu module twice. Not sure why it was like that, and it may come back on it's own. It's actually harmless except for the fact that it spams up your error_log. Thanks for pointing it out.

[Solved] phpPgAdmin - must be owner of relation
Krydos replied to cprn's topic in Escalated Requests
If you backup the database, drop it, recreate it, and restore the data you would be looking at maybe five minutes of downtime. The issue is cpanel creates databases and assigns permissions with root access via the cpanel button. Phppgadmin uses your cpanel username which doesn't have full root permissions. There's a lot of subtlety that is lost because cpanel didn't design their interface with root access for every possible thing you might want to do.- 5 replies

It depends on the type of backup it is. If it starts with cpmove- then it's an archive and we can restore it for people. The rest of the filetypes will need to be restored by the user.

We can't move accounts from servers that are offline, but instead I have sent you an email invite to recreate your Tommy account. I renamed your forum account so you can reuse the username cherio, and I deleted all references to cherio.heliohost.org so you can use that as your main domain again. You can download your Johnny backup from https://www.heliohost.org/backup/ Once you have created your new account let us know and we can rename your forum account back. Please ask us if you have any questions.

Dedicated IP is set up and reverse dns PTR record has been created as well https://www.debouncer.com/reverse-dns-check?ip=66.220.18.186 I also tested your email to make sure there is no reference to the Tommy shared IP. Thank you for your donation. We really appreciate it.

Most of your load is coming from /home/saluja/public_html/index.php which appears to be a wordpress install. The most common reason for high load from wordpress is poorly written plugins. Please get it fixed as soon as possible. Unsuspended.

We've added a lot of accounts to Ricky lately due to the crash on Johnny, and two of them in particular were causing a lot of load. They've been suspended and the load is balancing out nicely. When someone inevitably unsuspends them it's likely the load will return unless they fix their load issues quickly.
