On a more positive note, the server itself (not necessarily Apache, though) has been up for more than 8 days now, which is the longest it's been up for a couple of months.

Try creating a new FTP account and try logging in from there.

What application are you trying to install, and in what directory? Note that you need to install in public_html, as that's the directory that's accessible to clients. (For instance, if you have a file to /public_html/blah/this.html, it will be visible as http://labwork.heliohost.org/blah/this.html.)

Just add the correct domain name as a parked domain in your cPanel. Login from the HelioHost home page. Next time, be more careful. The sign-up page makes it clear that you only get one try.

Cool. Lucky you that your account hadn't been deleted yet... we're going through the list of around 15,000 old accounts and we've only deleted about 3,500 of them so far. If you've logged into cPanel as of late, you should be fine.

Changing my MX entry seems to work fine. I think you tried to change your MX entry at a time when the server was restarting, so you got some errors. Can you please try again?

The database is showing an account with username "msnyder" and domain name "receipestation.com" registered on the 19th. Try logging into cPanel with that username and see if it works.

I can barely discern what you are saying. Please use complete sentences and check your spelling. If the concern is that your email is incorrect, then why don't I just change the email on your account? If the concern is that you need your password reset, then I can send a password reset email to your Hotmail from an unblocked account.

You guys now have to submit a support request to get an SSL certificate installed on your domain, as it looks like trying it yourself will down the server. Thanks.

I've confirmed this issue. I'm going to submit a ticket to the cPanel folks and see if they can figure out what is going on.

This latest downtime was the result of some configuration stuff. It wasn't too bad, since it was just Apache that went down. That's a lot easier for me to deal with. Anyways, sorry.
