  1. I'm currently working with cPanel support to fix this issue. I'll let you know as soon as I have a solution. OK, PHPMyAdmin should be back online.

  5. OK, try now.
  6. gillam: What do you mean by "same problem"? Be specific. There are at least two different problems in this thread. Ola: What happens if you try to switch to domains.live.com? Does it still error out? Also, what do you mean by "reset my account"?

    Temporary URL

That domain is not pointed to HelioHost. Set its nameservers to: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org
  8. Oops. I put that message in yesterday, but forget to take it off after I finished fixing everything up. Sorry, you can signup now
  9. You need to connect to: Server: heliohost.org Username: your cpanel username Password: your cpanel password If that doesn't work, let me know what error you are getting.

    Downtime

Hello, We have been down for the last day. Don't worry though, this was on purpose - we had to reorganize some space in our filesystem as the /var partition was filled up. We should be more stable now Thanks, djbob
  11. They do what it takes to make money, sure. But they're companies. You can't blame them for trying to make money. And I don't think they purposely pick quotes from specific parties to make them look bad.
  12. I don't think that's his real domain, as he italicized the "me" in it.
  13. You have to signup with a content network, such as Google Adsense. Then you will be given some Javascript to put on your website that will generate ads. Forums in the HelioHost category are only for HelioHost-related questions, not general webmaster advice. Moving...
  14. You will need to go to your registrar (company that sells domain names) and find something in your control panel about nameservers. Change them to: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org
  15. Hello all, We are having trouble on Stevie with Apache crashing once and a while. I have pinned this down to semaphore issues and I suspect that Mono (.NET for Linux) is at fault. I am going to go ahead and recompile Apache without Mono and run it for a day to confirm that Mono is indeed at fault here before continuing. This outage will only take a day. Thanks, djbob

    Server Downed

Currently every three months actually, but I'm thinking that I should decrease that term anyways.
  17. I'm working on these issues. They have to do with Mono and semaphores. Currently, Apache is set to auto-restart (takes a minute or so) if the issues begin occuring, so they should be very temporary
  18. I'm not sure that CO.CC domains support MX entries. Either that, or they are not setting HelioHost as authoritative for MX entries. Ask around to figure out how to figure MX entries on CO.CC domains
  19. Right, sorry about that - I keep forgetting. Every time we get a new Apache build, Imagick needs to be rebuilt OK, should be working now.
  20. Do you also need to use an SSL certificate? It is completely fine as long as you don't break any of our rules.
  21. We had some hardware and software issues. It's rather complicated, but if you know what fsck is and what server load is I can give you a simplified explanation. Point is, we're back online
  22. Actually, this is quite entertaining right here. Let's let him stay, just to hear his comeback.
  23. cPanel seems to be working OK for me, but we did have a spot of downtime this morning. I'll check cPanel to see if its up during the day tomorrow.
  24. Oops... I modified the signup script yesterday to make the fact that we don't give away .com's for nothing even more obvious, but looks like the Javascript I added doesn't work with IE. What is your domain name? Have you already registered it? If so, set your nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. If not, then request that I delete your existing account so you can make a new one.
  25. Load it with the dl() function: http://php.net/dl.
