  1. You've probably signed up for multiple accounts.
  2. OK, your domain has been changed.

No, that couldn't be it. Trust me: if it was that simple I would have figured it long ago This issue is either something hardware-based or something really crazy with the kernel.
  4. See here: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=3772.
  5. This is temporary. We are working on identifying what is causing the slowdown on the server and are eliminating some features to see if they are causing the issues.
  6. Out of curiosity, what registrar do you use? All registrars should allow nameserver changes. If you are listed as the domain's owner and your email is listed, you should be able to transfer to another registrar if you need to.

OK, I've spent the last two days on the phone with a datacenter tech while we tried to fix possible filesystem issues. The stability issues might be gone now, but we're not sure. I'm monitoring the system right now to see if load starts spiking.
  8. Why would it run earlier? Use timestamps to have it run as often as it should. If it runs through a cron job, resources will not be managed as well as they would if it loaded through Apache.
  9. Every five minutes is too often. That's all 150 times as often as we let others run cron jobs. We can let you try once every four hours, but if your script starts using too much memory then we'll have to kill it. Why not attach the scheduled task to a normal page execution? If your website is popular enough, it should run relatively on time. It will slow down page loads a little bit, but it seems like your best option.

I don't think that's fair to the users that no longer use the email they signed up for, don't check their email often, or are away on vacation or something.
  11. What is your HelioHost username and domain name, and what ASP.NET file are you trying to execute?

Getting 4000 people to back up their files doesn't sound very easy.
  13. You need to set the HTML meta tag to UTF-8. <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
  14. What language are you looking to use? I suggest checking out the HelioHost.org article on MySQL - it explains how to connect in any language using almost any library.

Warranties don't work on software issues.
  16. Are there any .htaccess files anywhere?

I doubt Stevie is overheating. Servers are designed to run 24/7 - as a result, they have a bunch of extremely loud fans in them.

Well, scratch the memory idea. It's not a memory issue. I have absolutely no idea when this issue will be fixed. I'm working on it as much as I can, but I can't guarantee anything.
  19. It's in BOLD and RED. How obvious do I have to be? Anyways, how often does this happen?
  20. You need to remove your .htaccess file in your public_html directory.

    asp.net

ASP.NET is enabled by default. Web services should work as well. I suggest checking the HelioHost website's article on ASP.NET, which has a link to the Mono Project's class library comptibility page.
  22. Your account will automatically be removed from the system after three months of inactivity.
  23. Sorry, that problem is now fixed. I recently upgraded to Django 1.0, and there was a conflict between an old and new version of a file that was causing the error.
  24. First of all, please use proper English grammar. Capitalize the first letter in your sentence and do not overuse grammar marks. Second of all, you cannot use more than 16mb of memory per PHP script. This is a reasonable amount. Using more than that would not be fair to other hosting customers, because you might end up slowing their sites down.
  25. I have updated the heliohost.org guide with the proper directions. If you experience this problem again, just follow the directions there.
