HelioHost Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Username: menuka00, Server: Ricky, Main domain: iammenuka.com My username is "menuka00" and it is on Ricky's server. My default domainname is menuka00.heliohost.org. Today morning, I have changed the maindomain name and tried to configure new domain name. My new domain name is "iammenuka.com". But it doesn't work yet. Also menuka00.heliohost.orgdoesn't work now. I want to know about my configurations. I tried throughCloudflare. Are they correctly configured or not? Please check them and letme know.Thank you!
wolstech Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 That domain is working for me. Please note though that because you're using CloudFlare, we cannot provide support for domain-related issues.CloudFlare by design makes it impossible for us to verify whether your DNS settings are correct. If you're still experiencing issues with this domain, please remove CloudFlare and set your nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. 1
menuka00 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I changed nameservers. Now can I able to know about my configurations. If they were correct how long does it takes to get website live?
Krydos Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 It takes time for your nameservers to update. Right now they're still showing cloudflare for me. You can check the current values at https://bybyron.net/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=iammenuka.com&rec=NS 1

Sn1F3rt Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Hi Menuka, This domain works for me too. Try clearing your cache. Else try accessing the website from any other browser or a mobile browser. Regards, 1
wolstech Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I suspect he has an ISP issue with DNS. Some ISPs have caches that take days to expire for whatever reason. My recommendation would be to try accessing it from a cell phone through the data plan ( WiFi turned off ). That'll eliminate his ISP as the issue. If it works, he needs to call his ISP or change the DNS servers used by his computer. 1
menuka00 Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I think it is a problem of ISP I'm using. I tried after connected to a VPN. The domain works. Thank you guys!
