  1. You can't have parked domains either.. on the cpanel it shows 0/0 parked domains ;D Now is it set as your main domain (the one you entered on the signup form?)
  2. If OSes were airlines.... UNIX Airways Everyone brings one piece of the plane along when they come to the airport. They all go out on the runway and put the plane together piece by piece, arguing non-stop about what kind of plane they are supposed to be building. Air DOS Everybody pushes the airplane until it glides, then they jump on and let the plane coast until it hits the ground again. Then they push again, jump on again, and so on... Mac Airlines All the stewards, captains, baggage handlers, and ticket agents look and act exactly the same. Every time you ask questions about details, you are gently but firmly told that you don't need to know, don't want to know, and everything will be done for you without your ever having to know, so just shut up. Windows Air The terminal is pretty and colourful, with friendly stewards, easy baggage check and boarding, and a smooth take-off. After about 10 minutes in the air, the plane explodes with no warning whatsoever. Windows NT Air Just like Windows Air, but costs more, uses much bigger planes, and takes out all the other aircraft within a 40-mile radius when it explodes. Windows XP Air You turn up at the airport, which is under contract to only allow XP Air planes. All the aircraft are identical, brightly coloured and three times as big as they need to be. The signs are huge and all point the same way. Whichever way you go, someone pops up dressed in a cloak and pointed hat insisting you follow him. Your luggage and clothes are taken off you and replaced with an XP Air suit and suitcase identical to everyone around you as this is included in the exorbitant ticket cost. The aircraft will not take off until you have signed a contract. The inflight entertainment promised turns out to be the same Mickey Mouse cartoon repeated over and over again. You have to phone your travel agent before you can have a meal or drink. You are searched regularly throughout the flight. If you go to the toilet twice or more you get charged for a new ticket. No matter what destination you booked you will always end up crash landing at Whistler in Canada. Linux Air Disgruntled employees of all the other OS airlines decide to start their own airline. They build the planes, ticket counters, and pave the runways themselves. They charge a small fee to cover the cost of printing the ticket, but you can also download and print the ticket yourself. When you board the plane, you are given a seat, four bolts, a wrench and a copy of the seat-HOWTO.html. Once settled, the fully adjustable seat is very comfortable, the plane leaves and arrives on time without a single problem, the in-flight meal is wonderful. You try to tell customers of the other airlines about the great trip, but all they can say is, "You had to do what with the seat?" LOL I found this somewhere and it was funny. What airline are you taking?
  3. Very funny.. I've heard of it somewhere else.. but it's a really nice joke. But do we even have 100/200 active members to do it?
  4. It is per day, as stated by the person above, but you'll have to collect it manually. Meaning if you forget one day, you miss out.

    Downtime

It lasted about half a day, but thanks for fixing it!
  6. Yes. It is virtually impossible to get viruses or spyware on Firefox as IE is the source of entry of most badware. And about IE "Feeling Right" that is not a good explanation... you just have to get used to it.. and be prepared to be shocked when your computer automatically updates you to IE7.
  7. Is it possible to have my account subdomain renamed to something else? (Say, I had foo.heliohost.org and I wanted to change to bar.heliohost.org) Is that possible?
  8. It is because G-zip isn't supported by the server. I'm not sure about SMF, you should check the support forum to find out how to manually disable g-zip. As for IPB (all versions, including 1.x) change the setting at the top of admin.php to disable GZip and you can then access the Admin CP to go to the setting to disable Gzip on the main forum (System > General).
  9. Just wanted to let you all know It seriously pwns IE7. I really like the Session Restore/Crash Recovery and the SPELL CHECKER. Now there's no excuse to make spelling errors.
  10. I love Dual Core too.. but the Quad Core processors are coming Yeah. I'm an Ubuntu Linux user Windows is for newbies.
  11. And the people who live in Antarctica are scientists who only live there for a few months, mainly for research.
  12. The thing is, if you don't have the IPB files, you're out of luck

    2+2

It is? Cool. Thanks for telling me that!
  14. Actually, no. Windoze is for only the newbies that don't know what open source is. Many linux distros (Ubuntu) are made to be user friendly.
  15. I have a Pokemon Red (for GameBoy Color) somewhere around here.
  16. O_O 1 TB of HDD space? That's good ;o. I wish I had that.
  17. That would be 5000 Helions (500 posts) per year for the domain, and 25 posts monthly (OR an ads plan) for the hosting

    New Plans!

Are people with Posting Standard plans available to upgrade to Posting Plus? (Not that I'll need it right now, just wondering in case I need it in the future)
  19. Nah, I was just curious on where it went.
  20. What happened to the proxy access? It just disappeared out of the shop. Did it no longer work because of technical issues or something?
  21. I like PHP.. although I'm not into software programming (yet), PHP is cool
  22. For the free software, GIMP is an excellent GFX program that has many functions of photoshop and PSP.
  23. Five minutes to download it is really worth it It is more secure (NO MORE VIRUSES YAY) and has cool features. Try it!
  24. Maybe mention to not use chatspeak and not use excessive un-needed smilies?
  25. Welcome to HN. I hope you have a fun time here, and the hosting is great after almost a month of using it, no downtime so far!
