It is not possible to host 1 site one 2 separated servers. What you could use is cloudFlare. (www.cloudflare.com) You can create an free account and up your domain up for the service. You just need to change the NS server records of your domain to theirs and when the server goes down here, their servers will show a cached version of your site.

There seems to be a problem with Stevie. We are trying to solve it as soon as possible.

Most likely people make the templates according to the standards. If they do that, then all the browsers need to show the same webpage. And you need to know that IE doesn't take the standards serious and make there own set of style standards. That results in conflicts between browsers In most cases people need to make a separate template just for IE alone. In school I've seen the problem too. I once had make a simple website and even there I needed to make a separated CSS-style file for IE alone.

I didn't had any problems installing or running both programs. WAMP is very basic and easy to use. XAMPP has more features, but it pretty simple too.

@2nd question: You can edit the file called .htaccess in your root web folder (=public_html) (you can create it if it doesn't exist). Add these lines to the file: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80 RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.yourdomain.com/$1 [R,L] Just change the yourdomain.com to your domain. @3th qeustion: It is possible, but it could be a lot of work. You will need to re-write the entire template and make it compatible with IE. And you don't have any guaranteed that it will look the same, since IE doesn't "follow" the same standards as Firefox.

Maybe you can try http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html]XAMPP[/url] The steps on how to install it are explained there. it's similar like Wamp, but you get more features (Tomcat, ect...) and the interface if better (my opinion). You just need to start the services you need (in windows, don't know for linux) and you can control them in localhost page.

As far as I can see, the NS records still point byet.org servers, and not to heliohost servers. See http://www.dnswatch.info/dns/dnslookup?la=en&host=nicmil.co.uk&type=NS&submit=Resolve And therefor cPanel can not park the site on Heliohost servers since the domain points to byet servers.

You can not park your website on the HelioHost servers if the NS recorders point to other servers. You need to change them and then you will be able to park them in cPanel. That is the reason why you see the "is owned by another user." error.

I can not find any records of your site or account in the database. And about your domain, if you want to host it here you need to change the name servers. They are currently pointing to: ns1.byet.org ns1.dotage.org ns2.byet.org ns2.dotage.org Change the name server records to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org Then you should be able to add it in cPanel. It can take up to 48h before the records are actual changed.

You need to log on onto cPanel ever 30 days. The way you log in doesn't matter.
