  1. There is a golden rule when it comes to live server: if it works, don't touch it. Normally, you would have a development server that is an exact copy of the live server. On there, you can mess around all you want to see if changes are doing what they are supposed to do. Then you can apply those changes to the live server. If somethings goes wrong, you simply remove that dev server. And make a fresh copy of the live server. We don't have that luxury. If we need to change something we need to do on the actual servers. Updating something may seem pretty straightforward, but when you do it for a big server, like stevie, there are a lot of uncertainties and there is a possibility that something goes wrong. Even the tiniest thing could cripple the entire server. For example: a signup script or dependencies stop working, a service won't start anymore, etc... And when that happens, you have trouble. The best example is the current InnoDB issues. That resulted in Roundcube stop working. That is why we don't update stevie. As is, we know stevie is stable and working good. And it may continue to work for centuries to come, but with slightly outdated software. That is a sacrifice we need to make to garantuee that stevie keeps working.
  2. Nameservers seems to point to heliohost again: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/heliohost-dig.pl?domain=raxsoft.tk&what=helio Although, I can't seem to load your site in the browser at this time. Chrome says Err:NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

  4. Using stevie.heliohost.org will actually lead you to the login of johnny. Just saw it. The link is not correct. For now, you can use the login on heliohost.org or under your domain, port 2082 (www.example.com:2082).
  5. Please post the following information: Your cPanel username Your main domain The server that you are on Edit: stevie logins seems to work.
  6. We are aware of that problem. That problem has been going on for quiet some time now. There should be an other thread somewhere on the forum about that. It should get fixed when we update IPBoard, but that has a low priority on the todo list.
  7. Using htaccess to redirect URL's is very common and shouldn't be a problem. Also, cloudflare would actually redirect the request away from heliohost, so that solution could work.
  8. As far as I know, heliohost doesn't offer proxypass as a apache module. Also, you need root access to change those config files, we don't allow that for security reasons.

    Minecraft Query

I see that you are trying to connect to localhost. Shouldn't this be the address of your minecraft server?

What error do you get when you run the script? Also, are there any errors on the minecraft server itself?

  21. We will never delete database for no reason. Also, the InnoDB table are still readable, so you can take a backup of it and manually convert it to MyISAM. Krydos is trying to repair the damaged tables as fast as he can, but keep in mind that he can only do so much at the time.
