  1. Johnny will remain online and in his current state for at least a few days while we continue the work to rebuild him. There is no exact shutdown date right now, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.
  2. According to google translate you said https://translate.google.com/?sl=auto&tl=en&text=Nao estou conseguindo logar em minha conta%2C podem me ajuda rpor favor&op=translate I can't log into my account, can you help me please? Your account was on Johnny. That server is having a lot of issues right now, and we're going to rebuild him soon. You can read all about it in the last 9 news posts over the last month https://helionet.org/index/forum/1-news/
  3. The disk failure was on July 15th. As we posted in the news we shut down Johnny to find out what was going on with the hard drives and discovered that 1 of the 2 drives in the redundant array was dying. We put in a spare good drive and tried rebuilding the raid array from the July 15th data for over a week, and the data was too far gone to recover anything, so we instead restored from the last good state which was March 8th in order to provide some backups rather than no backups at all. So if you uploaded your files on May 22nd it was after the March 8th state that the drive is in now, which is why they are no longer there. That means you'll have to use your own backups. Since the files are so important, I assume you made backups of them like we always say tell our users to do.
  4. No. Tommy is already overloaded, and very slow. Moving several thousand more people to an overloaded server sounds like a terrible idea to me. What's the point if the uptime is 20% and each page takes 2 minutes to load?
  5. mail is also a reserved CNAME that exists on all domains. Like MoneyBroz said we can add webmail1 or mails or something like that though. peak.steventech.heliohost.us is now pointing to 152.202.228.41
  6. If we send the link in this support thread then anyone could use your invite and create the account before you did. Did you check the promotions tab? The email comes from no-reply@heliohost.org and this support email comes from support@heliohost.org so maybe try searching your email for the email address no-reply@heliohost.org?
  7. It looks like during the raid rebuild the Johnny server data rolled back to March 8th, so we'll only be able to provide backups from data prior to that date. You'll need to rely on your own personal backups that you made over the last few months for any changes since that date. After we're done backing up the data that is available we'll be wiping the server, and rebuilding Johnny.
  8. Verified and sent. Keep in mind that the Tommy server is very slow right now due to being extremely overloaded with people jumping ship from Johnny, but at least he's online.
  9. The extremely time consuming raid rebuild process has finished and Sparkie is back online. All of the VPS on Sparkie seem to have booted up just fine, but Johnny is another story. The widespread filesystem corruption that occurred right before we took him offline cannot be undone, and even though the hardware is operating normally now, Johnny will never be the same again. The databases all seem to be ok, but Apache won't boot up do to thousands of errors in the configuration. The next step will be to try to make backups of everyone's accounts.
  10. We finally got Johnny booted up a few minutes ago, and are seeing how much damage has been done. We'll make a news post about it soon.
  11. Yeah. Johnny, the server you are on, has been offline for more than a week for repairs. There have been a few news posts about it.
  12. Thank you for your patience. The raid array rebuild was successful, and your VPS 7 should be back online now. Let us know if you're still having any issues.
  13. Remote access enabled.
  14. An invite to create a new Tommy account has been sent to you. Be sure to check your spam folder and promotions tab. Let us know if you can't find it or if you have any issues creating your account.
  15. The temporary password has been emailed to you from no-reply@heliohost.org
  16. Sorry for all the problems and confusion over the last few days. Your VPS is now online. Please go to https://heliohost.org/reset/ and use the username smi93ctb to try resetting your password. If you can't get it to work and we can send you a random temporary password in plaintext. Hestia has been installed and the credentials are located in /root/hestia.txt once you get SSH figured out. Let us know if you need help with anything.
  17. Your VPS has been rebuilt.
  18. Once the server is back online you should be able to login. Right now we're looking at a few hours of downtime at least. The good news is it is looking really promising that we will be able to recover the data on the broken raid array. I'll email you when your VPS is back online.

If cryptocurrency is legal in your country you could use any of the wallets listed at https://heliohost.org/donate/ Make sure you donate at least $1 USD after fees. If you make a donation with crypto make a new post with this link https://helionet.org/index/forum/45-customer-service/?do=add and tell us the cryptocurrency used, the amount sent, and the time of the transaction. Most of the cryptocurrencies listed take 1-2 hours to verify, but Monero (XMR) and Aeon could take 24+ hours so they're not recommended. If you have another cryptocurrency that you would like to donate that isn't listed we may be able to create a wallet for you. Just let us know.
  20. Closing due to inactivity.
  21. Yeah, that would make sense.
  22. I just started your VPS rebuilding with Ubuntu 24, and you should get an email in 10-30 minutes when it finishes. It should have the same username and password as before, but if you're having trouble logging in you can try resetting your password at https://heliohost.org/reset/ We'll email you again once we have access to the old VPS data so you can get a backup of whatever you don't already have backed up.
  23. Actually there was a typo in the previous email. The Hestia login is located at https://vps4.heliohost.us:8083 Not port 8443.
  24. Alright, Hestia has been installed on your VPS. The login URL is https://vps4.heliohost.us:8443/ To get the default password login to SSH and run the command cat /root/hestia.txt I also created the domain zane.helioho.st pointed at your VPS, and changed your reverse DNS for this new domain.
  25. Have you tried resetting your password at: https://heliohost.org/reset/ Keep in mind that since your Tommy account and your VPS use the same email address you have to use the username to specify the correct account. The username for your VPS is: smi93ctb if you've forgotten. The Tommy account username is smi93ctb1 so don't try resetting the password on that account otherwise it will say you need to renew it first. I started the VPS rebuild yesterday, but I had to run to take care of a lot of non-HelioHost stuff so I never got a chance to set up Hestia for you, etc. I will email you again once that's all done.
