HTTP 500 errors aren't related to the 503 errors. I'd recommend checking your error logs in Plesk.

Hi, I'm encountering a 500 Internal Server Error at https://shahzaib.heliohost.us/flasktest/. Could this be related to the Tommy server 503 error issue?

Like I said on the news post 6% of your memory usage came from Laravel, and 94% of your memory usage came from Node.js. Laravel had nothing to do with your suspension. You were unsuspended at 2025-05-07 13:14:31, and warned not to cause high load. Instead of reading our warning you just started a bunch of Node.js commands running again at 2025-05-07 14:39:28, and quickly went to 210 GB memory usage. You can be unsuspended this time tomorrow when your load is back to zero. Hopefully the 24 hours will give you time to read and understand that you share this server with 929 other users, and it's not fair for you to hog all the system resources, cause downtime for other users, and cause other user's websites to load slowly.

You got suspended for high memory usage. 6% of your memory usage was from Laravel, and the other 94% came from Node.js. Laravel, PHP, and 503 errors had absolutely nothing to do with either of your suspensions.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm waiting. If possible, disable the Laravel Toolkit (laravel installation) and any active Node.js services. I'm sure the problem is related to this since it was the most recent modification I made.

I had problems with 503 in a Laravel installation. In some cases it was necessary to restart the application. The application is very simple and does not have many requests, even so my account was suspended twice. Maybe there is a correlation. I have already opened a request regarding the suspensions. I am just considering it for diagnosis.

The account was suspended a 2nd time very quickly after the 1st unsuspension so this support request is being escalated to our root admins for their review.

Yeah, my bad. Since you signed the first post with your name I just stopped reading at that point and didn't even see the username: hhfn after that. I'm not trying to blame you for my mistake, but in the future if you request support for the hhfn account it might make things less confusing for us, and less likely to make mistakes like this if you post from the hhfn forum account instead. We generally don't look at usernames unless the forum account and forum email don't match anything since people are extremely unreliable and often don't even know their own username. The msbsurfi account is moving back to Johnny, and the hhfn account is moving to Morty.

I'm just trying to make a simple landing page that can collect emails for those that want to be signed up to be notified later on while I rebuild my workshop, get a web developer, and bring my business online. What errors are you seeing? Error 503 was a known problem on this server recently (should be resolved now), and 502 for a few minutes every 2 hours is normal (Apache restart).

I'm on Tommy plan, and I've noticed that the website is frequently down more than it should. At first I brushed it off since the plan does include some down time but this is definitely a lot it happens every few minutes and it's making me start to wonder whether there's something wrong with my account specifically

Setting the values that way would cause the domain to not be hosted here. What are you trying to do? Are you trying to use your account only for email?

MX should point to tommy.heliohost.org. You'll also need to create TXT records for SPF and DKIM if you want to be able to send mail. FTP subdomain record isn't necessary as we recommend using tommy.heliohost.org in your client when connecting to FTP. If you want to create it anyway, it should be an A record pointing to same IP as the domain itself. NS isn't necessary if you're using your own DNS. If you want to use our name servers, you would need to change the name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. If you decide to do this, let us know, and we can set up the necessary records for email for you.
