Hello, I would like to request the setup of my Mercury VPS with Plesk installed. Please configure it with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and enable MySQL/MariaDB for database usage. This VPS will be used to host a Capstone Project, so I will need a stable uptime and access to manage web files and databases through Plesk. Thank you!

Yes, our service supports both. You can create the database and select PHP versions in Plesk.

A VPS admin will be able to look into it in the morning (i.e. in about eight to ten hours). It's likely that they'll be able to fix SSH for you.

Hi, I just lost ssh access to my VPS. Am running a coolify dashboard and lost ssh access after a recent update. Is there I can recycle the ssh service. Server is still active on web ports. Regards Louis

This database is a MariaDB database, not a PostgreSQL database. You can enable remote connections to MariaDB yourself through Plesk. If you truly want to use PostgreSQL you need to create a PostgreSQL database, not a MariaDB one and then let us know the database name and database username you want to have access.

Server should be morty.heliohost.org, port 465. Username and password should be any email address and password you created in Plesk. Note that there is a sending limit of 50 emails per day.

Good day, wolstech! Thank you for your prompt response. I appreciate your accommodation to my concern. The sudden spike of memory usage was probably because of my multiple attempts to run NPM commands in one of my Node applications last week. I had problems with running `npm run dev` command since no outputs were shown during my attempt to run my Vue app in development mode. Again, I sincerely apologize for exceeding my memory limits beyond what is provisioned under my Tommy account. I'll be mindful of using my account resources well moving forward.

Core is the base package, and is the "classic" product people would call Drupal. Drupal CMS is Core with a bunch of extra modules preinstalled so you can just dive in. The CMS product is actually quite new and has requirements newer than what's on Tommy. It might run on Morty, but only Core 10.5 will run on Tommy. They do have a self-contained demo copy for the CMS product that can run on your PC for testing though, just to see if its even what you would want: https://new.drupal.org/drupal-cms/launcher Tommy and Johnny will likely be rebuilt with newer MariaDB at some point if you wanted to go that route on your Tommy account. Considering Drupal Core has a pretty steep learning curve, you may find other products easier. There's plenty of options out there (just avoid Wordpress...)

I don't remember seeing 2 options for Drupal (CMS, Core) last December when I installed it. I spotted a Softaculous banner earlier that said "Drupal CMS is a version of Drupal that includes core and common extensions, pre-installed and configured to give you a head start", so I guess if you knew you needed whatever common extensions came with the CMS version, that'd be convenient. I didn't notice the CMS one doesn't let you specify a version. The banner didn't list which common extensions the CMS comes with, though. I just tried a test install of Drupal Core 10.5.2 on my test Tommy account, and it completed successfully, so it works okay with MariaDB 10.5.27. It already seems to have a bunch of modules available to be enabled already, so it's not a completely bare bones option to use. I didn't change any of the pre-set default settings in the Custom Installation options, except to set a much stronger admin password. It may be worth trying out Drupal Core (v.10.5.2) and if you need any more extensions, it seems possible to add more contributed modules from Drupal's list of them here. If you don't necessarily have your heart set on Drupal, we have a few other CMS options listed on this page. Depending on what kind of content you had in mind for a CMS, you may find something interesting there, too. If you're planning a wiki-type of site, we've also been using MediaWiki for the HelioHost Wiki and I've been enjoying Docusaurus for a wiki-style recipe collection with blog.
