I did a bit more digging after my post, but thanks for confirming I was looking in the right place! 🙂 For the short answer: When you link to your files, instead of using "http://" in the link, use "https://" with the s in there, that seems to be where the issue is, because your site is running on https (which is always good to do) and so you should link to files also on https. For the longer explanation about how we investigated this and why it's happening: When I tested out your download links, at first Chrome told me it blocked the download because the files could be "potentially dangerous, suspicious, unverified, or insecure". That doesn't single out your files specifically, just that zip files on the internet can sometimes be risky to download, so there's that built-in protection in the browser. After that happened a few times, when I clicked on the Download link... nothing happened, just like you reported. When I pressed F12 in Chrome to bring up the DevTools (and F12 to close them again, if you tried it just now! 😄) that's a handy way to see what's happening inside the browser with requests. I've highlighted the relevant clue. Your website, on https, was linking to a (potentially) "insecure" file, since you only used "http" in the link for the file. So the browser's built-in protection kicked in and blocked the download, and then eventually just blocked it silently, so it looked like nothing was happening. If you change your links to start with "https://" and the rest of the filepath, you'll be linking from your secured website to a secured file, and the downloads should work again and not get blocked by the web browser. Please give that a try and let us know if it still gives you trouble after that! 🙂

Hello, I have a domain name through an external provider that I'd like routed to my account. Username: efinn Domain: efinn.helioho.st DNS Records to add: A and AAAA for: efinn.net www.efinn.net Additionally, I'd like "efinn.net" to be the main address for the website. This is a pretty fresh setup and I've saved the content elsewhere, so I don't need a backup made of anything. As a note, I've only set up the A and AAAA records to match the IP addresses from the efinn.helioho.st records, since I'm assuming the server has a static IP address and wish to use other subdomains (and possibly other records on the root domain) for other purposes. Please feel free to let me know if this is particularly fragile (since I think using Namecheap's ALIAS pseudo-record will still get me what I want). Thank you!

The hourly sending limit of the email address that tried to exceed the 10 per hour limit has been increased to 50 emails per hour. The default limit of 50 emails per day remains the same for now. If you try to send more than 50 emails per day email sending privileges will be removed. This is the default limit, and since you didn't really answer question 1 (or any of the questions really) I assume the default limit is fine, and it's only the hourly limit that you need raised.

A second IPv4 would cost $2 per month. It looks like you're paying $5 per month now so that would bring the total to $7 per month. We would lose money if we sold IPv4 for less than we pay for them. If you click the follow button in the top right corner you will get email notifications when there are replies to this forum thread. You can also email support@heliohost.org if you want our replies to go to your email.

Create an online SQL database for people to access
KazVee replied to leonewema's topic in Customer Service
Hello! We have some user-generated guidelines in our Wiki that you can find here about creating a MySQL (MariaDB) database, please give this a try and let us know if you get stuck: https://wiki.helionet.org/MySQL -
I've made all the changes for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain changes to take effect. If after a full 2 hours they don't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Since there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, we made a full account backup for you before the domain was initially added, in case you need any files from before things were switched around. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups

There is no account named Serpic000, Ambot, or associated to the email addressed used on your forum account. Please post from a forum account associated to the same email address as on your HelioHost account, or provide the HelioHost account name so we can assist you further. Thanks!

Wow 15 years already, im gonna say it polite "i think"; sh**t time past fast lolll. There was back then if i remember Stevie and Johnny, i think i was on Stevie back then; there was cpanel at that time. There was 2 or 3 ways to use some webmail, one of them i remember was squirrel; think there was also roundcube. When i'll have more time i'll do some changes on my website, i have my ways of life as each of us have; but still it's important for me to stay with heliohost. The only thing is some times i'd like, if it's possible is not to have to logon each month, but at leass at two months. Because some times i forget to logon. A thing for sure for being so many years, proof that i want to stay with you. I'm sure trough the years the admins and moderators have notice that i dont have any bad intentions. Also i do think that what i do is good things, with no bad thinkings and no bad intentions. As always it's important to give my thanks to the peoples help into my life. Like i say (by joking), it's important to be nice to peoples; you never know if some one gonna win very big at some lottery ticket numbers. Hihihihihi. Some times i think to simply once a while in the forum section about other discussions, tell some jokes just to put some smiles into peoples lives. But the things is most joke i hear are adult jokes, and i never know if it could offend some peoples? Once again many thanks. Sylvain A+

@Krydos I didn't know that. I have been re-reading your messages and cannot find any mention of this anywhere : I did find this though : And I also did say : I said it was good enough, I Didn't insist on you to waste your time. The FAQ did say to open a customer ticket for this specific NGINX request, I didn't know I was supposed to understand everything at first try. I also mentionned I was very new to all of this, my first line of code was 1 month ago, sorry for not understanding node.js, ports and websockets right away. Also, it does work in the main citadel.helio.st domain, the files just need to be in 2 different folders, i'm sure there is a better way to do this, that is why I asked. Thank you for your help, won't take up more of your time

Request Unsuspension My Account
wolstech replied to asdtechcreation's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
We use a whole bunch of different factors. Some examples are included in the email that you would've received before they were suspended, though that list is not exhaustive. That said, for most people there really is no good reason to have two accounts anyway. If you just want to have more than one website, you can have up to 10 on a single account. If you need additional space or higher resource limits, we have options for that. And if you really want to have two accounts anyway, you can buy Morty accounts (users can have as many Morty accounts as they want, as long as they keep the bill paid for all of them). -

Correct, if you allow Plesk to create SFTP accounts they aren't jailed properly which is a security vulnerability. Unfortunately Plesk doesn't allow any way for people to create FTP or FTPS accounts without also being able to create SFTP accounts. We can create additional FTP accounts for you if you need though.

I went ahead and created a full backup of all of your files which you can download from https://heliohost.org/backup/ if you need them prior to deleting anything.
