[Inactive] Help me to remove my account suspension
Krydos replied to trycatchtales's topic in Escalated Requests
Closing due to inactivity since there has been no response in this thread for over a week. If you're still having this issue or need help with something else please open a new ticket. -
Whatever was running was using way too much CPU. CPU limit is 10000 units/day, RAM is 200GB/day. Are you ready to fix the issue? If so, let us know and we'll unsuspend you.

[Solved] Outgoing connection to Aiven PostgreSQL is refused
khanin replied to khanin's topic in Escalated Requests
Yes, thank you. I got it, will reach out to them regarding a static IP. -
I've added that domain to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect. If you've already set up your DNS with your domain registrar then you don't need to do anything further. If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache
-
You would create the record on your domain registrar's dashboard, using the IP addresses found in Plesk. Please see this page for more info on setting up your DNS: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#DNS_Records

Thanks for letting us know. I've canceled the pending suspension for your Tommy account.

Rebooted, however due to insufficient memory to restart cleanly it had to be hard reset which can damage the filesystem over time the more it is done, we recommend either upgrading, resolving the underlying issue, or doing a rebuild.
-
I have started the reset. You will receive an email in a few minutes with a link. Click the link in that email to continue to reset process. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
-
Domain added, it'll take effect in about 95 minutes. You'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Morty's IP if you're not using HelioHost's nameservers.

I have removed all the domains except jeffersonmidei.helioho.st, as that is your main domain. Is there a domain you would prefer to become your main domain? I cannot remove it without replacing it with something else.
-
Looks like wolstech added this domain for you. Remember to create an A/AAAA record to Johnny's IP if you're not using our nameservers.

This morning the city in California where our datacenter is located had a power outage. It took the city a few hours to restore the power, but once the power was back on all of our servers booted up. Everything should be online and fully functional now, but if you notice any issues please let us know.

Domain renamed. That said, the domain you requested is showing as for sale and hasn't been purchased so it's not going to work: https://heliohost.org/partners/namecheap/kindstance.org.uk
-
Domain added, it'll take effect in about an hour. For the domain to work, you'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Johnny's IP or switch to HelioHost's nameservers.

The problem (suspended) is solved now. Maybe due to what you did? I have no clue but thanks a lot for your 'help' My website shows again in browser Best regards.

[Solved] pip install fastapi in morty
Krydos replied to bestpricefinder's topic in Escalated Requests
Installed. -
We had another person report a similar problem. They actually answered our questions though. They said they were using Google Chrome, and when they disabled their plugins the signup process started working for them. They said the plugins they disabled were Scribe and Meta Pixel helper. I have tested signups with both of those plugins installed, and still can't reproduce the issue. Not sure what is going on, but if you're still having issues let us know and we can investigate further.

[Solved] Add a domain to my HelioHost account
wolstech replied to tecandsoftsrv's topic in Customer Service
Domain added. Please be sure to configure DNS. The domain can take up to 2 hours to start working. -
DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain eliazar.heliohost.us. We recommend sending a real email (not just the word "test" or a blank email) to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be.

We recommend avoiding Wordpress for this exact reason. It's extremely inefficient, slow, and insecure compared to almost every other choice: https://wiki.helionet.org/WordPress It's also the #1 leading cause of hacked accounts and accidental bans. Upgrading to Morty (or a VPS, perhaps with a control panel on it for ease of use) would improve performance, but even there you're probably not going to get sub-1 second load times without switching away from WP.
