Mercury VPS Setup with Plesk for Capstone Project

Plesk isn’t free and adds a substantial amount (I want to say ~$14/month, possibly more) to the cost of the VPS for the license. Also, I’m not even sure it would run on the limited memory of a mercury VPS. Most VPS users prefer something free like Hestia instead. Do you still want Plesk? -

Yes, our service supports both. You can create the database and select PHP versions in Plesk.

[Krydos] Request Remote Access to PostgreSQL

This database is a MariaDB database, not a PostgreSQL database. You can enable remote connections to MariaDB yourself through Plesk. If you truly want to use PostgreSQL you need to create a PostgreSQL database, not a MariaDB one and then let us know the database name and database username you want to have access. -

Server should be morty.heliohost.org, port 465. Username and password should be any email address and password you created in Plesk. Note that there is a sending limit of 50 emails per day.

Good day, wolstech! Thank you for your prompt response. I appreciate your accommodation to my concern. The sudden spike of memory usage was probably because of my multiple attempts to run NPM commands in one of my Node applications last week. I had problems with running `npm run dev` command since no outputs were shown during my attempt to run my Vue app in development mode. Again, I sincerely apologize for exceeding my memory limits beyond what is provisioned under my Tommy account. I'll be mindful of using my account resources well moving forward.

Domain added, it'll take effect in about twenty minutes. You'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Tommy's IP address or switch to HelioHost's nameservers (if you haven't already) for the domain to work.

We can add up to ten custom domains for you, but unless you request .heliohost.us or .helioho.st domains, you'll need to purchase one from a domain registrar.

You were originally suspended for possibly have more than one account, after further investigation on our end we determined that you are using a shared IP address with another user so your account has been unsuspended. -
