wfutan Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 hello sir,I can not login for few hours.. main heliohost login is fine but when want to proceed to cPanel always got blocked by: "Your IP address has changed. Please log in again."Please help, thank you
wfutan Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 just tried clear the cache of browser but still doesn't work
Sn1F3rt Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 That's bcuz your ISP changes your IP to frequently which expires the security token in cPanel and it logs you out everytime. This isn't any of your fault though, it's your ISP. The only way to tackle this problem is to use a proxy or a VPN. 1
wfutan Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 yes, you are totally right. i changed the isp and it can go through. Thank you so much for the assistance. Regards
Sn1F3rt Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Glad you got it sorted. Actually, this has happened to me previously with my initial ISP. So I'm used to fixing it anyway.
Krydos Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Some ISPs that do this will give you a static IP if you just ask. It certainly doesn't hurt anything to ask.
Sn1F3rt Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 At my ISP or any ISP around here, to get a static IP you'll need to pay $20 a month, plus you should be using an internet plan which is minimum $15 a month, to get a static IP so it isn't worth it.
yashrs Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Which ISP do you have @sohamb03? I use You Broadband and they charge like $7 for static IP per month
wolstech Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I'd pay that in a heartbeat. Here in the USA, decent internet service tends to start around $60/month, and that's if you get it with cable tv. By itself, decent internet can run $90/month or more. Oh, and that's residential service with a dynamic IP. Business grade service costs substantially more. Most ISPs here won't even consider a static IP for someone on residential service. Cheaper options like DSL also still exist in some places, but they're useless for most applications these days.
Sn1F3rt Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 @yashrs Here in Delhi we've Airtel broadband or BSNL, (I'm gonna install ACT this month) both having the same problem. That surprisingly didn't happen all the time, but sometimes it does cause problem. @wolstech Well I agree that the prices you mention are significantly higher, but out here, in the new connection in installing I'll be getting 500GB data at 100-200 Mbps speed, at $10 a month, which is more than enough for me and my family. I feel it's worthless for me to get a static IP paying more than my internet bill, when I've the ease of access from my own OpenVPN server, and thus I don't want to spend anything unnecessary at this time, considering that I've a lot of money pending at my school.
wolstech Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I'll be getting 500GB data at 100-200 Mbps speed, at $10 a month, which is more than enough for me and my family We get 1TB at "up to" 250Mbps (you never actually get the advertised speed...I get about 120Mbps). That starts at $90. Then there's the cable TV and phone service that these large companies always push as a bundle, the myriad of fees such as the BTV fee (Broadcast TV fee, paying to receive free OTA channels via the cable), RSN fee (Regional Sports Network fee, most sports networks are owned by cable companies over here, so they pass that cost onto us too), regulatory fees (government mandated), sales tax, cable box rental (no option to buy it over here, you must rent it if you want TV), and in some places BS fees like a "cost recovery fee" (seriously, one ISP is currently charging their customers this, it's literally a fee intended to make customers pay for a lawsuit they recently lost), a standard American cable/fiber bill is often $300+/month. Oh, and in many places, you've got exactly one choice for an ISP, so they hike prices regularly because there's no competition for you switch to. Static IP isn't even an option if you wanted it outside of business plans. Broadband service in the USA sucks.
Sn1F3rt Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Yeah well my internet speed is sready around 80 Mbps atm. My current provider also has unlimited STD/Local free calls and that's charged at $13 for 150GB monthly data. There's no cable TV though. The new connection I'm planning has no phone nor TV service but as aforesaid they're offering 500GB data at 200 Mbps and I've used the ISP (my school's provider) and internet speed is ~100 Mbps. That's for $10 a month, and I'm quite okay with it.

Broadband service in the USA sucks. Woah, I didn't know much about broadband services in the USA. Thanks for mentioning it all. I always assumed that it would be cheaper as it is a developed nation but I was wrong. I hope the condition improves and the prices go down a bit as Internet is becoming more of a necessity now. By the way, I currently pay for 60 mbps unlimited plan for around $100/year, and I get 1.5 GB/day for $30/year on Mobile data. Maybe shift to India, wolstech ? JK ofc.. USA is awesome and nice developed country on the plus side. I visited Los Angeles once last November and I loved it there
Sn1F3rt Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Same here @yashrs. Mobile data cost is the same ofc, just that I pay around 10K INR/year for the broadband. IDK but seems all providers here charge more.
