Bailey Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Yes thats right, now you need to upload some files to your website using cPanel or FTP.
wolstech Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 That's an empty directory listing. It's what you're going to see until you upload your content. If you don't know what to do from here, Softaculous has some free content management systems you can install, then you can just use that to design the website.
Krydos Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 I want to mention that if you're interested in having ssl on your site we strongly recommend Ricky or Tommy. These servers automatically install and maintain ssl for you so you don't have to do anything. Johnny is capable of ssl, but you have to install it yourself and more often than not you'll get an error about the load being too high. Since you have a nice paid domain Tommy would be an especially good fit for you since that's our fastest server with the highest uptime. Let us know if you need help switching servers.
Luigi123 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 I like to mention that when you upload your files to FTP or cPanel, but you dont like to upload on the Index main page, you can create and name the folder and upload your files in that folder. From there, when youre ready to see your new site, you just enter treetransplanting.net/the folder you name it. Thats it. Works easy.
HelioHost Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 Domain is up and running but I am having some issues with the SSLcertificate on it https://www.treetransplanting.net/ On Mon, Dec 11, 2017 at 4:01 PM, Heliohost Support wrote: > I like to mention that when you upload your files to FTP or cPanel, but> you dont like to upload on the Index main page, you can create and name the> folder and upload your files in that folder. Bailey Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 If you are on Johnny, auto SSL isn’t available. You will have to install it yourself or move to another server, I recommend Tommy.
wolstech Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 This is the guide we have for Lets Encrypt if you need a certificate: http://wiki.helionet.org/Installing_a_Let%27s_Encrypt_SSL_Certificate After you install a certificate, it can take up to 12 hours to go into effect. SSL did give someone else on Johnny some trouble recently though, where it just would not go into effect no matter how it was installed. If that happens, a root admin would need to check on it for you. As mentioned previously, you'd be best off moving to Tommy. That server comes with SSL automatically included as previously mentioned, so there's no messing around with certificates necessary. The server is also much faster and has significantly better uptime.
HelioHost Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 my domain treetransplanting.net is not working I am seeing this "Errorestablishing a database connection" can anyone help me resolve that issue? Bailey Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 It should be back up now. MySQL May take a little while to get back to normal.

wolstech Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Johnny's been having a rough day: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ This is a fairly common issue with Johnny...he allows unlimited signups at the expense of any sense of stability or reliability it would otherwise have. All that orange and red on the Johnny bar in the link above is why your site doesn't work. As we recommended back in December, if you need reliable hosting, you should move to Ricky or Tommy where these issues are FAR less frequent.
