  1. I have problems to visualize the SSl cretificado of my web site, who could help me to configure it correctly? my website should run on https://radioretroperu.com make the changes from http to https within the .html files in addition to a .htaccess file thanks again.
  2. Hi, I am facing a problem of SSL while trying to access https://whm.distribure.cf/ or https://cpcalendars.distribure.cf/ . It says: "whm.distribure.cf uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for tommy.heliohost.org Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN " HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is activated on my website. So there is no change of adding exception. I am using Let's Encrypt Cert. as I faced some activation problem with the cPanel's Cert which was provided. Will you please look after this matter? -Thanks
  3. Although not required, I want to achieve A or A+ rating on sslabs on all of my website and blogs. I have achieved this on my other sites that was hosted on different free hosting service. But my site hosted at heliohost or the server itself(tommy) seems to not support Forward Secrecy which halt me from achieving A Ratings.
  4. So, I installed the SSL using the tutorial from the wiki, on ssl status it says this: Domain validated (image1) But SSL isn't working because I'm getting this: (image2) An I doing something wrong? Edit: Please, close this, I was able to solve the problem, sorry for the inconvenience.
  5. This is tutorial for installing Free SSL Let's encrypt for cPanel Hosting Step 1. Create a certificateFirst, go to and enter your domain name then click the Create Free SSL Certificate button. Note: If you need to create certificates for multiple subdomains, you fill in multiple domains at once, for example yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com, abc.yourdomain.com ). Then select Automatic FTP Verification . Then fill in the FTP login information, Directory directory you enter the root of the domain name must be SSL. If the domain name is set as domain addon or subdomain then you must enter the correct path of that domain, and select Download Free SSL Certificate to complete. You can use manual verification or DNS for verifying. After the information, you enter is correct, it will give you SSL certificate information as follows: You save that and go back to the cPanel panel of the host to do the next step. Step 2. Install the SSL certificate into cPanelNow go to your host’s cPanel panel and look for the SSL / TLS entry. Then go to Certificates (CRT) . Then in the Upload, a New Certificate, enter the Certificate Certificate you received in step 1, Description description also. Then choose Save Certificate. After saving successfully, press Go Back to go back and select the Install button on the certificate that you just added, remember to note Issuer should be Let’s Encrypt. Then in the Private Key (KEY), enter the Private Keycode you received in step 1, then press the Install Certificate button. If the information you enter is correct then you will get the following message. *** On this Step you can choose Manage SSL sites then copy Certificate, Private Key and CA Bundle then paste to Manage SSL Sites, Choose your domain then click Install. 6. Hello, AutoSSL is not renewing on my account. The SSL Status page on CPanel reports the following: > Expired on November 24, 2017. The certificate will renew via AutoSSL. However, it has been much longer than 48 hours (more like a few months), and SSL has not been renewed. Can you please help me? Username: wspiano Site: ws.heliohost.org Server: Tommy Thanks in advance!
  7. Hello, I just installed a WordPress site on Johnny and I have set up my registrar to point to the heliohost nameservers. My registrar (PorkBun.com) offers free SSL certificates through Let's Encrypt and when I went to install them two nights ago, the form in cpanel was able to automatically retrieve them. Install ways successful and I have even verified that what is installed in cpanel matches the ssl bundle that I downloaded form Porkbun. When I visit my domain (hipotlabs.com) without https, the page loads fine, however anytime I click a link in the page with https or manually prefix the url with https, I get the "website is not secure" page. If I choose to bypass the warning and proceed to the page, I get a "Index of /" header at the top of the page with the cgi-bin folder listed underneath. I read in the documentation about adding a folder under the home directory, and another folder within that to upload a separate file to verify ownership of the domain, but Porkbun does not seem to provide such a file from what I can tell. Please let me know if I've done something wrong or if that lack of verification file is the issue. Thanks in advance.
  8. Is it possible? if yes, where i can find certificates? is it Crt, Private key and CaB or something else? As always, I apologize for my English
  9. Hello dear heliohosters I've noticed a difference between Tommy and Ricky when it comes to the HTTPS version of the default subdomains, namely: webmail.xxx, cpanel.xxx, and webdisk.xxx.heliohost.org. 1) On Ricky http://cpanel.licool.heliohost.org loads the NOT secured cpanel login page. https://cpanel.licool.heliohost.org loads correctly the SECURED cpanel login page. While, 2) On Tommy http://cpanel.awal1.heliohost.org loads the NOT secured cpanel login page as well, but https://cpanel.awal1.heliohost.org POINTS to the INDEX page in public_html! instead of loading the secured cpanel page. Although Krydos has explained to me that on Tommy cpanel.xxx, webmail.xxx... etc are not real subdomains, they are actually proxies. For instance, cpanel.xxx is a proxy to tommy.heliohost.org:2083. I would like to know what is the difference then with Ricky that loads the right subdomain page weather using http or https? when Tommy doesn't I hope my question is clear and thank you in advance for any help.
  10. Possible fix? Running Wordpress 4.91 on johhny server
  11. While adding my new ssl certificate from Let's Encrypt (got it by following the tutorial on your wiki page) under Settings->Security->SSL/TLS->Manage SSL sites and after filling in all the fields (and the page successfully recognized that the SSL cert was from Let's Encrypt) I went Install Certificate only to be greeted by a message "Unknown error" after some time waiting for the rolling bar to stop. When browsing certificates under Security->SSL/TLS->Generate, view, upload, or delete SSL certificates I could see my new certificates from Let's Encrypt. My page (segfault.heliohost.org) still doesn't show SSL but I'm aware it can take 24h for it to do so. Could you inform me whether I acted correctly and this is just a bug or if something is wrong? Thank you, You guys rock. P.S. Not knowing whether I would need a certificate for the www.segfault.heliohost.org and mail.segfault.heliohost.org I at first didn't include them in my first certificate, latter I added another one for them only.
  12. Can anyone tell us something about HSTS option for a safer https. How to enable it. Server setup or through htaccess. Thank you.

  19. Hey folks, As far as I got it, in order to gain an LetsEncrypt free certificate(installing it without SSH, manually), I'll need to update it several times a year... On their page it says there's a simple way of integrating this procedure at hosting end, so it will become more reliable and easy to use. Any chances of getting this anytime soon?
  20. Hi, I installed a StartSSL certificate but when I go to https://www.maicol07.tk it shows me an another website. Why? If I use http it displays correctly. Thanks
  21. Greetings for the New Year to all! I wanted to know some details about SSL and its use with HELIOHOST. I know exactly what SSL is and that's not my point. However I wanna understand how we can use it with HELIOHOST. Does heliohost provides support for SSL? Does heliohost provide SSL Certificate or I have to get it from some other source? Can I use One SSL certificate for Multiple domains owned by me?Does the certificate apply to sub-domains too? If NOT, what CAN I DO to do so?Is getting SSL Certificate from Heliohost is FREE or CHARGED?How to get or apply for SSL Certificate? Is it really important to have SSL or is there some alternative for it? If so, IS IT RELIABLE and CHEAPER? I request all the intellectuals to please provide all the details regarding SSL. Because, this post can help the beginners like me to LEARN. Thank you! I will really appreciate if heliohost provides SSL certificates. Please share the procedure to get it, if so.
  22. I've read that Tommy supports SNI and as such certificates from Let's Encrypt can be installed free of charge: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26572-will-heliohost-support-lets-encrypt/. Could somebody please point me in the right direction as to how to actually a certificate up and running? I've been looking around for a while but all the Let's Encrypt tutorials I can find require either SSH access to the server or some sort of cPanel plugin, neither of which are available options as far as I can tell. Installing the certbot client on a local Linux machine and attempting to generate a certificate from there didn't seem to work either. Anyway, seeing as it seems to be possible based on the link above, I thought I would reach out to see if anyone has got this working and could lend a hand - I'd really appreciate it. Maybe I'm just missing something obvious. Any ideas?
