The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space
jje replied to prestone's topic in Customer Service
Unfortunately, another rare problem has arisen. cPanels partition has run out of space and shut cPanel down temporarily. I presume signups will be temporarily halted due to this problem, or might error. http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=8070 Sorry for any inconvenience in these rare occasions. -
You can use more than one domain on your account by going to 'Parked Domains' in cPanel and adding your domain. You will also need to setup the nameservers on the domain(s) you add: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org It will take about 24 hours for your domain(s) to become active. A support admin should be able to take a look at your main domain problem.

Sorry about the extended wait. This issue has been identified and escalated: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=7926

That's great! That means that your account will be up and running in no longer than 24 hours!

She stated in her first post that phpMyAdmin was not working either.

You could try and recover as much data as possible here. I recommend you create a new account. However, due to the current problems, it could take up to 96 hours or longer for your new account to be activated. Sorry for any inconvenience.

So cPanel is saying that no databases exist? Strange - not sure why password reset would have deleted them? Hmmm, better let an Admin check it out. Sorry I wasnt much help.
-
An administrator will be happy to change your main domain - simply point the nameservers of your new domain to ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org Please wait for byron, Wizard or Geoff to change your domain.
-
As far as I am aware, HelioHost does NOT backup your data - it is the webmaster (you) who is responsible for making backups and restoring them if required. As I previously stated, you could try and recover as much data as possible here.
-
Try deleting your current MySQL user, then recreate and reassign a new user with the same credentials to your database through cPanel.
-
Yes, this is completely normal. You will be able to log in to cPanel when your website displays a 'HelioHost Account Queued' page. Shouldn't be long now - should take another >48 hours from now.

I don't think you understood. You can get your account up and running again by simply creating a new folder called 'www' in your Home Directory. Then, open 'public_html' and choose 'New File'. Name the file whatever you like, as long as it ends with .php . 'Code edit' your new file, and copy and paste Geoff's code. Choose 'Save File', and then view the file in your browser (eg. http://mhcode.co.cc/restore.php). Then Voila - job done! However, if you insist your account is deleted, an Administrator will be able to perform this action. However, I recommend that you do the above actions so you don't have to wait another >96 hours.

Sorry if your account isn't active yet. Accounts may take longer to be activated at the moment. This issue has been identified and escalated: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=7926

Before running Geoff's PHP code, create the folder in your home directory.

i have accidentally deleted the public_html folder

I doubt that there should be any problems with running a shopping cart on your account. However, I recommend that you recreate all the folders Byron listed first. However, if I were you, I would take Byron's advice. I believe ZenCart is popular and can be used for running a shopping cart. -
It can take up to 96 hours for your account to be created. EDIT: This issue has been identified and escalated: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=7926 Sorry for any inconvenience.

You need to add nameservers to your .co.cc. The nameservers are: ns1.heliohost.org ns2.heliohost.org This can be done within the .co.cc setup. It can take up to 96 hours for your account to be created, especially if you are using a domain other than .heliohost.org.

After some research, I believe an administrator will be able to recreate the www directory (http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/restoring-deleted-www-folder-18493.html). I believe SimpleScripts is a service very similar to the service that HelioHost provides. In cPanel, a very similar service called 'Softaculous' is available. At the moment, your website appears to be completely empty.

Sometimes cPanel is under heavy load and, as a consequence, is slow or not working. The below URLs are the best for accessing cPanel: stevie.heliohost.org:2082 heliohost.org:2082 If your account gets suspended due to the Inactivity Policy, you can use the Renew script to avoid deletion: http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/renew.php Happy webmastering!

[Solved] Error installing sqlite3-ruby and other gems
jje replied to On Freund's topic in Escalated Requests
This RubyGem can be installed directly within cPanel. In cPanel, choose 'RubyGems' then enter the necessary information. -
Great - glad it worked! Your account will be created within 24 hours. Happy webmasting!
-
To get your website up and running again, add your website contents to public_html (www is just a mirror of public_html). Most parts of your website can be recovered here.
-
There is no specific estimate, but near the end of January 2011. I can't wait!

An administrator will be able to provide you with this information. Unfortunately, I believe that Hotmail has blocked HelioHost's emails. Please check your Spam/Junk folders.
