There is some problem with the now() function. I think it existed in previous versions and not this one. This works fine for me, also you forgot the semi-colon at the end of the line:- (Replacing now() with some string):-

This is completely normal, you need to place a index file(index.html or index.php) in your public_html folder for the website to work or else it will show the directory contents.

Try clearing your cookies, and cache both, and still if it doesn't work the password reset wouldn't have completed successfully. Tell here if it works, else I will reset your password manually.

1.6 GB is too much for anybody to upload or send it. It would be good to just restore the home directory to the public_html directory of your heliohost site and execute SQL Queries and your site should be working fine, and also just upload the necessary and important files of that 1.6 GB Backup to Heliohost.

I can't say whether there is something wrong with the backup you made. If you took a full backup from the cPanel then you might have to extract twice from the backup to see the public_html folder.

I would recommend using FTP Client(like Filezilla) to upload files to your website as it is good and even for some reason if it gets cancelled, you can continue uploading the remaining files. If you have problem for disk space, you can upload some of the big files to some websites like Dropbox, etc.

PHP is one of the easiest back-end languages that exist. I would recommend you to read online tutorials for PHP. There are many more books available on the Internet for PHP.
