I "restored" a backup of my website into c panel configuration is off does not find original settings to go to website I just get my index list up and am unable to get it to go to home page of website

I must be doing something wrong . And I am Totally new to this . I downloaded my backup from my website that i had and i cant get it to load properly. I have manged to change What the idex manager says when i go to my web adress. but as far as going into my web site it never works correctly.Have Patience with me guys I am brand new at this and know very little concerning hosting . bigdaddy ONJohnny giftbasketsunlimited.net Thanks for the help William
