  1. I have created templates for displaying server loads on the wiki. They are as follows. For Stevie and Johnny server load (shown side-by-side), include the following on any page: {{Template:Server load}} For Cody's server load, include the following on any page: {{Template:Cody load}} For the animated image of Stevie and Johnny's server load, include the following on any page: {{Template:Animated load}} An example to the first option (Stevie and Johnny side-by-side) can be seen on my user page.

    HelioPanel

I was just looking at the Uploading Files To Your Site wiki article and saw HelioPanel coming soon. Now you got me curious: what is HelioPanel??
  3. Great! Let me know when the setting is enabled (post here) Thanks!
  4. What is your question? Are you having trouble adding the addon domain?
  5. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but I think it might be okay. Can a support admin please set $wgAllowExternalImages = true in LocalSettings.php on the HelioHost wiki? I would like to include the server load images on my User Page, but since they are not hosted in the wiki upload directory, they can not be linked to. Documentation for the MediaWiki setting can be found at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$...wExternalImages Thanks.
  6. Of course functionality and content is more important, but having a consistent design adds professionalism which just makes HelioHost a little bit better.
  7. Oh, I didn't even go to that page before, I went right to the scripts. Never mind then.
  8. That's much better. You should also include a description of each script. For example, you could say that the renew script is to reactivate suspended accounts due to inactivity so users know what they are doing before doing it. And, if you really want to improve the forms, the change domain and delete account forms have three fields and the prompts are just listed above. To make it clear what information goes where, the labels should be aligned with the form field like on the register page(s). These aren't as important so if it is impossible or too difficult, it doesn't matter, but it would help.
  9. Stevie or Johnny? That domain is not found.
  10. What scripting language are the pages (php, perl, etc.)? Try chmod'ing them to 755.
  11. iFrames are fine. And it really would be a major improvement. It's little things like that that can have a big effect on your appearance as a good service with a knowledge of websites (after all, this is a website hosting service).
  12. I got your css/page layout from the page source of the HelioHost Homepage. If you could send me the source code (with the PHP for the forms) of the script files, I could just make static HTML/CSS/PHP pages with the same design as HelioHost.
  13. The cPanel/Bluestone Coding scripts (listed below) are in dire need of some design. They really should be designed the same as the HelioHost website, but anything is better than what is is not -- nothing. They are important resources for HelioHost and should look professional, which they do not right now. For reference, the scripts are as follows: http://heliohost.org/scripts/delete.phphttp://heliohost.org/scripts/domain.phphttp://heliohost.org/scripts/renew.phphttp://heliohost.org/scripts/status.php
  14. Thanks! I really appreciate it!
  15. I think that SSH/Shell access for users would be excellent. Other free webhosts offer it and HelioHost on top of everything else that it offers better than other hosts would be much better if it was to be added. I do understand the server requirements and security concerns, but SSH can be very useful to many users.
  16. Log in to you cPanel. Under the Software/Services section of the cPanel homepage, click Perl Modules. From there you can install modules from CPAN.
  17. There should probably be a link to the wiki added under support in the HelioHost menu.
  18. Check the status of your account at http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/status.php If you account is in good standing, just wait 24 hours for the domain to fully propagate.
  19. I made cPanel and what does HelioHost have to offer pages and linked to them in the CAQ article (the first two questions).
  20. I just started http://wiki.helionet.org/wiki/What_Heliohost_Is_Not I only put two things, but I think that this could potentially be a valuable resource for users who are planning to sign up.
  21. You should clean up the URLs on the wiki by following the instructions at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Short_URL. For example, this would make http://wiki.helionet.org/index.php?title=Main_Page accessible from http://wiki.helionet.org/Main_Page which looks a lot better and is easier to use and remember.
  22. I think that's a really good idea. Forum posts can be easily overlooked and the wiki has a better environment for changes and better viewing (does that make sense?).
  23. I would like to contribute. My cPanel username is cl58tool.
  24. I just got an e-mail that my account is inactive and needs to be renewed. I clicked the link in the email to take me to the renew page and I got the following error: My username is cl58tool and the URL is http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/renew.php?username=cl58tool

    Down

My website (http://cl58tools.co.cc) has been down for a few days now. Is there a server issue?
