  1. I could not locate your account using your e-mail address. You can to re-register to create an account. I apologize for any loss to your content this may have caused.
  2. Always glad to have a happy user
  3. If you don't mind, please complete our Support survey: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=8947
  4. Your account seems to be active. It may take up to 24 hours for it to start working again.
  5. No account registered with that username exists in our database. I also checked by domain and no account exists with the one you listed as a primary domain. Is there another domain or username that may have been used? I can also check your account by e-mail address. If you would like me to do that please post your e-mail address. If you do not wish to publicly share your e-mail address, you may PM me (please include a link to this post for my records).
  6. Stevie is up and running (for me, at least), but it has not been nearly 24 hours. Is the maintenance complete?
  7. You must log in to your cPanel at least once every 30 days. Go to http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew to reactivate your account.
  8. If you are on Stevie: Stevie has been experiencing some technical difficulties (though they will be fixed in tonight's maintenance) which may have caused an issue. If your account was recently renewed, it could take up to twenty-four hours. Try clearing your browsers cache and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, it should be fixed after Stevie's maintenance (if you are on Stevie).
  9. What time zone is the 9:00 maintenance scheduled for?
  10. Drupal. It is powerful, easy to use, customizable, reliable, and excellent overall. I do like Joomla!, but I feel that the Administrator control panel can be somewhat confusing and difficult to use. Themeing (sp?) in Drupal is also much better than in Joomla!
  11. Username? Domain? Server?
  12. You can move your account by following the instructions at http://wiki.helionet.org/wiki/Moving_your_account
  13. I have also been unable to reactivate my account after being notified... drwhotht.heliohost.org. I can get to my cpanel, but a script-led renewal request goes nowhere. -- DSW Your site seems to be working fine. Stevie was undergoing some technical difficulties. It was showing all users an account queued page, but that has been fixed.
  14. Are you sure that your Google Apps has email properly enabled and set up to receive mail? Also, have you verified your Google Apps domain (and has the verification processed through Google's servers).
  15. Have you removed the MX records that existed prior to adding the Google ones? See if there are any records that point to something other than Google (if they exist, they would probably point to your domain name). If they exist, delete them.
  16. Is this supposed to sound like a riddle? To reactivate your account, go to http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew The reason for the requirement to log into cPanel is to separate the inactive accounts from the active one. HelioHost has many accounts registered with it and inactive accounts simply waste valuable resources.
  17. Check the status of your account at http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/status As Akira97 said, it could take 24-48 hours for you account to fully be removed from the system.
  18. HelioHost's servers recently had a power outage (see http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=9234). This has caused some complications with the servers, but things should be back to normal soon.
  19. Ensure that you have followed all of the directions exactly as stated from Google. It may take up to 24 hours for the records to fully propagate.
  20. If you are only going to use phpBB, you should consider switching to Stevie. Johnny has general instability because of its extra features. As Krydos said, Stevie is currently experiencing odd outages and slowness, this will soon be resolved. You can, however, remain on Johnny if you would like. For instructions to switch to Stevie, see http://wiki.helionet.org/wiki/Moving_your_account
  21. You have to remember that domains are not free. Getting 200 posts is twice as easy as 400 which means HelioHost has to pay for a lot more domains. Remember this is free... HelioHost isn't making money from this service, but they are spending it for TLDs which means it is all out of pocket for djbob, the root admin.
  22. To change your MX records, sign into cPanel (at the bottom of http://www.heliohost.org/home/). In your cPanel, under the mail section (if the section is hidden, press the black down arrow on the right side of the header). Click the MX entry option. That will take you to a page to edit the MX Records.
  23. Remember to check post dates before you reply to threads. This thread hasn't been active since March.

It still links to the old site; you just changed the text.

Well, best of luck then. Can't wait! By the way, your signature link should be changed to http://heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/status
