Hi Wizard, It is because I am not able to install any of the scripts from the fantastico installer cp, getting various errors for different scripts, I need wordpress installed, but when I try I get error as described in the following post: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4051 It would be great if admin could do fresh install on my account, so I could start all over agin. Thank you for great hosting otherwise. Why not just use http://wordpress.com/?

Are you sure you have both addresses right? Did you make an email account on cpanel that wasn't the default one? Did you check your spam box on Gmail?

As far as I know, the 'reset' is an administrator deleting your account and making a new one with the same name, but the admin's out right now. Why do you need this anyways?

Are you logged in as the admin or as a regular user? The first email that is created is teh omni account. Also, please just edit your posts in the future as opposed to doubleposting.

Ive tried it with all my email accounts. Anyway, Ive moved everything to my computer. I finally figured out how to host a public website from your computer. You dont get the fancy CPanel, but you get everything else. Lol why? Now you're computer has to be on 24/7

What he said. To put it mildly, the server will look for the folders and config files that came default with your account. Without them, many features won't work. For example, if you deleted public_html, your visitors would see nothing. Even if a file was blank, it probably will be needed in the future as a template/placeholder/etc.

djbob is the admin and is in charge of validations. However, he is gone for the time being, that's probably why your account isn't validated.

Bandwidth can be added on a needed basis, i.e. if you're about to reach your limit, you can ask for more. These arrangements are usually customized and involve you negotiating with djbob.

Hosting isn't that hard to learn, you don't have to be smart, just dedicated.

I dunno, but djbob is volunteering his time. This isn't his job and he's not getting paid for it.

Did you not notice the big text during registration that read "please wait 24 hours"? Yes I did notice that - 07.12 means 7th of December. That is also the reason why I waited with contacting Heliohost. Right now it is 15th december here. Even if there is a time zone difference, 24h has well passed from the time I registered. Anyway, has Heliohost any information in the system about my application or what is going on? I would just like to start using the service. Peace, Jaak Whoops, misread that, looked like 7:12 to me. Anyways, it seems djbob has disappeared, which isn't good since he's the only one who approves accounts. We'll have to wait for him.
