The point of a proxy is obviously to get pass blocks set in limited internet. Usually the blocks also take out the public proxies as well. A private proxy has a less chance of being blocked.

Did you try logging in?

I learned with just Notepad, and I think that every aspiring webmaster should first start with their head, notepad, and maybe the occasional w3c validation.
