  1. It's more of an IDE for C# (which allows Microsoft's graphic API's to be easily configured) I believe, but I haven't used it.
  2. If you really just want to make some crappy game and have a program do it all for you, use Game Maker or whatever else there is (google yoyo games). If you want to make a crappy game, but have the potential to make better ones (as well as understand how they work) start here. (tells you what languages to choose from, etc.)
  3. I'm 16. In the winter I enjoy to go snowboarding when I get the chance, as well as surfing in the summer. I used to skateboard, but not anymore (I got bored with it). I also enjoy making video games, websites, general programming, new and interesting discoveries in science, and a bunch of other geeky stuff. When I hit the computer/AP class I geek out, other than that I'm pretty much an average Joe (or maybe I'm a bit awesome ) Joe
  4. I also use pidgin, due to it's ability to communicate with any IM client, as well as IRC. I used to use meebo, however.
  5. LOL, I play on that site all fourth block. I have keyboarding class, and I am a faster typer than the teacher, so I either play the nitendo 64 emulator I installed on the computer, or I go online and play a game like that.
  6. Evolution is not just biological. Everything evolves into a more stable state. Even atoms evolve to become more stable. Evolution is really a concept of holding the longest period of time, being most probable, or simply lasting longer. Everything evolves into a state in which it is more stable, thus we observe it more due to it's increased probability.
  7. Maybe you should look at the post right above yours.
  8. My favorite browser is Firefox, but I feel that it is quite closed minded to just compare Firefox and I.E. There are so many other good browsers out there. Take a look at wiki's comparison of internet browsers. Joe
  9. Well if the entire human race descended from two people, how do you explain our vast genetic diversity? (if you want to get technical the differences are very finite. But the differences between an ape and a human are also very small).
  10. Your claim makes no sense what-so-ever. Just because we can't disprove gravity, doesn't make it 100% guaranteed either. I will take my chances that gravity and evolution exist. Please elaborate. Did how many people did god make? BTW: Do you also believe the universe is 6,000 years old?
  11. I had something similar happen when I got the email. My gmail account showed the html and my browser included one of the parenthesis in the url when it auto-linked it. The url ended up being http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/renew.php?..." which obviously didn't work.
  12. Well eventually IE will be gone. Nobody wants to port it to linux
  13. I don't think that it was the same kyle, as I find it highly unlikely that a 15 year be trying to pull of some illegal scam. I tried to help him out once, and he was all but to hesitant to open a .css file I sent him because he thought I might "hack his computer through it". He just doesn't seem like the type.
  14. Well once Firefox gains power, it will be the equivalent of I.E. then Opera will take Firefox's place.
  15. Well what I think it would be better if he would make it a prize or something for those who actually contribute to the forum and help others rather than going on non-sense posts such as how fast is your internet, and about every other semi-personal question there is. It would go to those who help people who are having problems rather than counting to 10,000. Joe
  16. EDIT: fixed. Thanks for you help.
  17. I got a suspended account notice for my site www.awsomejoe23.com. Can is there a way I can renew it or get it back? Thanks, Joe The link I was given in my email to renew my account said that the user did not exist.

Could you tell me wear they are located so that I can make sure they aren't blocked? Thanks, Joe
  19. I have my own server on my computer, I just am unable to host it due to my limited access of an IP. I use it for testing, and trying out new features for my sites. It might be a good start for you to try something like that. When I go off to college I hope to get an IP and have my own server.

Though I do not click the ads solely on the purpose of getting you money, I do try to look at them and see if there is anything I am remotely interested in and then click on it and view the page.
  21. I haven't seen a single notebook that can stand up to the macbook air, I just think your mad like me because we can't afford it
  22. http://polishlinux.org/ is a good site to use when trying to find the right linux/unix distro. It has a quiz where it tries to find the right one for you, as well as a list of each of their features and how hard they may be for you to install/use as well as what kind of graphical interface they use.
  23. Tell your firewall to allow helio-net, and I used to have a problem very similar. I think it was an add-on for firefox that caused it. It may have been firebug or web dev tool bar, though I can't be sure. I have no problems anymore, and I have removed both of those extensions (it could just be a coincidence).
  24. I'm creating a site that reads rss from different channels then parses it and puts it onto my site. I'm looking at having channels from areas such as computers/science and politics/business. I'm planning on making it so that you can add a few channels yourself in the future (which will be quite simple), but I want to see how people like the site first. Also what else do you think would be cool to have in a site ie top rated videos in youtube/google, highest rated new movies, etc. Thanks, Joe
  25. They are oriented in the costumer in the way which gets them the most profit. They are oriented towards the costumer, but they make the people who write applications for the costumers go through hoops just to make them compatible. EDIT: Also, I'm beginning to use opera a lot more.
