Maybe a better explanation of "you are no more special than anyone else" would be: There are currently over 20,000 accounts on Heliohost total and 5-7ish active admins. We create scripts and tools for users to help themselves because if each of the users asked for special treatment from an admin that would mean each admin would have to personally transfer ~4000 accounts. We're not paid for the work we do; we're just volunteers. We're not trying to be rude; it's just unreasonable to expect us to put in that much effort when it is something that you can easily use the provided tools to accomplish. That said, feel free to create your new account on stevie at 12:00am PDT tonight. You can monitor when you can sign up by using this tool: http://heliohost.uni.cc/sign-up.php You won't get the error this time. I may be wrong, but I don't think that meldibo has even logged on since he made that post let alone created another account.

The instructions for moving your account from one server (johnny) to another (stevie) can be found here http://wiki.helionet.org/Moving_your_account I'm guessing the reason you cannot create your new account is because your old account has not been deleted yet.

Thank you for helping to beta test this software and for finding this bug.

I just suspended my account to test the message and it still shows the old message not the new ones you linked.

Yeah, I know what Cloudflare is. Like Geof said apache doesn't know which page to display when all it gets a request for direct.965mods.co.uk and has no record for it so it just displays queued. After you add the sub domain it will take ~24 hours for the queued message to go away. You may have missed it because it's so giant and so red at the top of the screen but The reason it makes a difference is because if you want to receive the best support to fix your problem you need to explain things as accurately as possible. The point of communication is for others to understand what you are trying to say. Intentional typos and misspellings just make it harder for anyone to understand what you're trying to say. By the way, I would consider each lowercase "i" an intentional typo, as well as each word that needs an apostrophe such as "doesnt". Try counting again.

http://965mods.co.uk/ loads fine for me, perhaps try clearing your cache? Thanks to Piotr GRD for pointing out that I misread your post. I guess all the typos made my eyes go into skim mode instead of reading it thoroughly enough. Yes, it appears http://direct.965mods.co.uk is displaying as queued. When did you add this subdomain to cPanel?
-
Yeah, I saw that todo list, but I never googled what upcp was or thought about too hard apparently.
-
This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
-
Good question. I'm wondering the answer too, or if there are any conflicts preventing us from upgrading. We currently use cPanel v11.28.83 cPanel 11.30 was released as stable on July-13-2011.

I'm pretty sure there are two physical name servers. One is on stevie and one is on cody, which are different physical machines. Isn't that what you are saying, or do you mean one should be located somewhere else in the world instead of both being in the same datacenter?

[Solved] Website doesn't show, error message
Krydos replied to germantogo's topic in Escalated Requests
The point was all accounts on johnny were all being redirected to one users account and that user had some ads on their page that were not placed their by the thousands of other accounts on johnny. I went through several dozen random accounts on johnny and tried opening their main domain and they all seemed to be loading fine too. So it seems the "pack" is functioning as well as your site is. All hosting services have their downsides, but hopefully our good will continue to shine through. My chosen monicker is 'Krydos' not 'Icarus' but I think I know what you're saying. -
It appears as if johnny is functioning normally again. All sites on johnny should no longer be showing queued or the wrong content. Please feel free to make posts in the customer and/or appropriate subforums if you are still encountering problems.

Glad your problem got solved! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.

The site in questions seems to be loading again, and the last login date now shows as 8-14. Seems like the renew script worked.
-
All accounts on Johnny are currently down. Please read http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=10163 Closing. Your site now seems to be loading fine for me. If you are still seeing the suspension page please http://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_your_cache

When Geof posted that there was an error on johnny causing all page requests to all redirect to one users account. As a temporary fix that one account was suspended showing all accounts on johnny as suspended. That issue seems to have resolved itself and your account should be showing up correctly now. When I click that link I get Django administration with a username and password box.

Your site seems to be loading fine now. If you're still seeing the suspension page please Clear your cache.

Have you tried logging in through the homepage at the bottom? http://heliohost.org

If you're still in doubt I can see the page loading fine too. If your page won't load perhaps try http://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_your_cache?

I agree. Daylight savings time is dumb.
