Read "Among the Hidden" and its sequels. The book really does a good job of explaining a possible future in which parents are allowed no more than two children. If another child is born, it is sent to a governmental "institute", where it is mistreated, tortured, experimented on, or killed outright......................

It would certainly be ok for THEM, since they are the "stronger" species. But we would feel ashamed at how we mistreated animals. Gamemaster_268, you're right. Its not uncommon for a person to be mistreating an animal, and when someone asks how he/she would like being mistreated, the person says "But that's different! I'm a human!".

What if the person buying the child does something...bad...to the child? Then you would feel sorry at "helping" your son/daughter.

What if its NOT a guy and a girl? Just curious as to what happens then............ And no, the age of consent should stay, based on your explanation of it. Lets say two ten year old kids do it. Actually, if you think about it, it depends on how old the child is, if you are going to give him/her privacy................I mean, if the kid is five years old, then of course adults have the right to "invade" the kid's privacy if they feel that they need to..................

No way. If the criminals plead innocent, and then are let free, they could commit crimes again. The criminally insane should be mercy-killed, in order to protect the good of the society. Also, the insane criminals would probably want to die than what they go through.
