  1. You're looking OK right now. My guess is that you won't go over, but don't hold me to it
  2. Do you promise to put your crons up to a maximum of two crons, one running each per day?
  3. OK, I have installed the ming-utils RPM. See if everything works now.
  4. Could you ask them if there is a libming-util for CentOS (we can't use apt-get as we use multilib with CentOS 5.2 x64-86). I can't find any online downloads for libming-util through Google and none of the installed yum repositories are listing it.
  5. What don't you understand about Awstats? Bandwidth usage should be displayed on the rightmost side of the first table.
  6. Yeah, most open source projects use mailing lists for support.
  7. OK, your HelioHost account has been unsuspended. Make sure to adjust your crons ASAP, or your account will be resuspended.

    Cron Job

OK, I took a look and they seem alright, but I'm not completely sure. Go ahead and put them at once an hour, but if I notice them taking an inordinate amount of CPU I will have to put them back to once a day. PS: Sorry for the slow response.
  9. OK, what is your HelioHost username?
  10. Yeah, the problem seems to be stemming from RequiredFieldValidator. I have tried installing gdiplus.dll in the past, but after a few days of errors I gave up. The cPanel folks said that they will consider adding gdiplus in the next major release of cPanel/WHM.
  11. I fixed the issue last time. But it doesn't seem to be occurring right now. What is the error you are getting, and where is it coming up?
  12. I really don't have time to debug the Ming source code... that's not my job. Please contact the Ming folks to see how to debug this issue. If they need you to do run some directives from the command line, let me know and I'll probably do them for you.
  13. If you agree to adjust your cron to fit our rules (two crons, maximum once a day each), I will unsuspend your account.
  14. Sorry for the delay... all accounts have been activated now. For the dedicated IP, I'll need your HelioHost username, domain, and the email you signed up with. You can PM me this information if you feel uncomfortable revealing it publicly.
  15. My guess is that FF3 is faster than both betas, considering that all betas have extra debugging options built in that make the software inevitably slower.
  16. After playing with it a bit more, I've noticed that it's a bit faster than IE8. Maybe this is just subjective, but its what I've noticed.

    SSL IP

OK, you have been given an IP
  18. Chrome has some developer tools, but I haven't really tried them out too much. I haven't found the browser to take less RAM than IE 8, and the Javascript doesn't seem faster than IE 8's either (I tried out meebo.com, and it was about the same speed). One caveat I have is that there is no Favorites panel in the browser. I know they say that their Omnibox is supposed to replace that, but I have to write a whole word of a favorite because it pops up, and I find it much easier to just click a link on my Favorites panel. Another thing is note that IE 8 has the same "process-isolation" design - it runs each tab in its own process.
  19. Sure, sounds easy enough. Just send the email to admin at heliohost dot org and I'll forward it to you. Also, post, PM, or email me your email address so I know where to forward the email to.

Hey Laura, Can you give me the path or URL to your scripts so I can take a look at them? If they don't seem too CPU-intensive, I'll probably give you an exception. But if it turns out later that they are using too much CPU I'll have to put them down to once-a-day.
  21. Very interesting. Their process-isolation design seems interesting. I would like to try it out to see if it really increases or decreases performance. Also, I like their new Javascript virtual machine. That should increase performance on a lot of "Web 2.0" sites, like meebo.
  22. Can I have the URL to your script?
  23. OK, your IP should now be active. Try adding your SSL certificate now.

  25. Let's not take this thread too seriously now...
