  3. "Smart static files processing" has been disabled on your domain. The setting should go into effect in about 26 minutes. For anyone else who searches and finds this, you can actually turn this off yourself by going to Login https://heliohost.org/login/ > Continue to Plesk > Websites & Domains > [Your domain] > Hosting & DNS > Apache & Nginx > Uncheck the smart static files processing box. Keep in mind changing most settings like this can take up to 2 hours to go into effect. @KazVee Maybe we should add these instructions to the Wordpress wiki?

  4. You're very welcome! 🙂 This support request is being escalated to our root admins to set up the remote access for you.

  5. Really? Thank you! I assumed that this was a more loaded option for hosting and dropped the idea of asking. If so, then firstly, thank you for understanding and answering, and secondly, please open remote access to the database khokhma_taskdistributor and user khokhma_taskdisuser. A thousand thanks and my admiration for the human approach🙂

  6. Thanks for the quick response, KazVee! Much appreciated. If I'm not mistaken, what I want to accomplish (see above) requires addon domains and not subdomains. I want to point a domain that I already own (say, my-domain.com) to a folder on HelioHost. If I understand the documentation correctly, that would be my-account.helioho.st/my-domain.helioho.st/. Then, after modifying the nameservers for my-domain.com, you should see whatever is in the my-account.helioho.st/my-domain.helioho.st/ folder. If that's correct, can you please add these addon domains to my account (ronvdc): ronvdc rvdc dutchoutpost biljum tiffanybiljumtherapy adventuresintech Or is there a way to accomplish what I want by simply putting the content for each site in subfolders on HelioHost (so, for example, ronvdc.helioho.st/dutchoutpost) and then updating the nameservers for dutchoutpost.com to open the contents of that folder? Thanks! --Ron

  8. Hello, we can certainly delete your account for you, but it is possible to connect remotely to a PostgreSQL database, and we can set this up for you if you want. Remote access for PostgreSQL is disabled by default for security reasons and since most users don't want or need it anyway. If you want remote access, please let us know 1) your database name and 2) the database username that you want to have access. We can then ask the root admins to enable remote access, and they'll let you know the connection details to use. Otherwise if you want to go ahead with the account deletion please let us know if you only want your hosting account deleted, or if you also want your forum account deleted too. There may be other reasons behind your wish to cancel, but if the only reason was the lack of current remote access to PostgreSQL, we can change this for you. 🙂
