Great news everybody! We've been rebuilding Johnny, and are now ready to allow a few people to start creating accounts. As soon as Stevie started crashing http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/archive/?2016-11-30 the Heliohost administrators immediately began work getting Johnny set up again. We gave Johnny users 72 days to take backups of their old accounts, but the old version of Johnny has now been completely wiped removing all traces of the broken server. However, if you failed to take a backup of your site during the allotted time we may still have some archived information for you. Just make a post on our support forum http://helionet.org/ to inquire about the status of a backup. We don't have infinite storage space on our servers, but we tried to back up as many accounts that were active when Johnny crashed as we could. If you had an account on Johnny and would like to start using it again you will need to sign up again, and then restore your backup. Your old account will not be automatically created for you. The signups per day on Johnny will start out limited in number as we continue getting the server functional. Not all of the work getting Johnny set up is completed, but enough is done that some users can begin creating accounts if you wish to. Let us know if you have any questions.

The username an82o and the domain analogvalues.heliohost.org are now available for new account creation. We've sent out quite a few free invites for Tommy, but with 20,000 or so accounts in our system the chance of being randomly selected is pretty low. If you make a donation https://www.paypal.me/HelioHost you will get your invite to Tommy within 24 hours. Also if you get an invite you can create your account anytime that is convenient to you. You don't have to wait for a certain time of the day, and hope you can create your account before signups run out for the day (like Johnny.)

You're welcome to sign up on Johnny, registrations open at midnight UTC every day and fill quickly. If you want to use Tommy, you can donate to get one, or hope you receive one for free at random. If you want to reuse your username and domains, please let us know so we can remove them for you. Also, be aware that if your hosting account and forum account use the same username, we will need to rename your forum account in order for you to reuse the username on Johnny.

Wow, signups filled up in just a couple minutes.

If the main domain always points to public_html, all the addon domain and subdomain content can be accessed through it unless you use some creative htaccess or other code to redirect/block it.

Assuming you have a Stevie account, yes. Users on (new) Johnny or Tommy can still log in. The system checks your password by asking the server you're on, so if it's down, it can't get an answer. No answer is a wrong answer.
