[Krydos] Question regarding AWStats
kittforhire replied to kittforhire's topic in Escalated Requests
Ohhh I didn't know. Did the research and found https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/39869614105111-Why-was-AWStats-deprecated-what-tool-replaces-it-and-what-happens-to-existing-servers-and-domains-that-still-use-AWStats Are we going to get the update on your servers at some point? Thanks for now! -
Username: ziggy, Server: Johnny, Main domain: ziggy.helioho.st I ould like to Try Morty until Johnny is up please. On Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 09:24:26 AM PDT, HelioHost wrote: | | | | | Hey Benanamen-heliohostorg, Johnny is going to be rebuilt over the next week or two. You're receiving this email because you have an active free account on Johnny, and your website is currently offline. Yesterday, we noticed Johnny was having issues, and powered him off to investigate. It turns out that a lot of files were missing, the master boot record was gone, and the partition table was destroyed. We managed to do some data recovery and then made backups of everything that was intact. You can download your backup from heliohost.org/backup if you want. Some of the backups will be missing the databases if they were not recoverable. If you're not seeing your data from the backup system, please let us know so we can see if there is anything else we can find for you. If you'd like to get your website back online as quickly as possible, we are willing to offer you a free Morty trial. If you're not familiar, Morty is our fastest server that normally costs $1 per month. Since your website is offline, we can put you on Morty for free until the Johnny server is back online. Once Johnny is ready, you can move back to Johnny for free, or if you'd prefer to stay on Morty, you can make a payment at that time. This is actually interesting timing, because Johnny was scheduled to be upgraded in the next month or two anyway, so we've just accelerated those plans due to the crash. If you're ok with your website being offline for a couple of weeks, no action is required of you, and you'll be able to stay on Johnny after the server is rebuilt. Since we're all unpaid volunteers and our free time varies depending on how busy our real jobs are, etc., we don't have an ETA on when Johnny will be finished, but we will be getting it done as quickly as we can. We are estimating it may take a week or two, but it could be longer depending on how many issues we run into along the way. Please reply to this email or click the Contact Support button below to let us know if you'd like to move to Morty for free. We'll do everything we can to get your website back online as soon as possible if you want to. [Krydos] Tommy might be blocking SMTP requests
Krydos replied to msbsurfi's topic in Escalated Requests
Yeah, that IP is not blocked. Seems like they noticed the loophole you were using and blocked it. -
Good question. At this point let's go with the solution you suggested: redirect so their browser url bar shows theclippercampaign.com Since the .com was the url I created email accounts, websites and the one shared publicly, it would then make sense to do the above. Now, just for my own education, would it have been possible to redirect to the content in .com but have the address bar show .org? What are the practical options when doing this sort of redirect? What's the technical term for this redirect thing? Would it be too much to ask for a link where I can read up on this and give me a better understanding? Thanks in advance for your help. Chris

On my Tommy account, I have 0s for all stats since May 9, on both domains. Not that they were super popular, but I"ve never had a month with 0 before. On Johnny and Morty, I'm still getting some stats tracked currently, but it shows as Deprecated on all servers.

Question on upgrading to a VPS account
wolstech replied to hostmysiteplease's topic in Customer Service
Note that when you actually buy a VPS, nothing happens to the hosting account automatically. You just get a VPS alongside. If you want to move everything to the VPS as a replacement for the Plesk hosting account, you would need to do so manually, then cancel the hosting account. Some of our VPS users do have both, they typically use the Plesk account for their main website, and set up the VPS on a subdomain to use for hosting large files or running a specific a heavy application like a game server. -
[Krydos] Tommy might be blocking SMTP requests
wolstech replied to msbsurfi's topic in Escalated Requests
That IP address is not blocked on our end from what I can see. DNS on your domains looks fine (we usually recommend just setting the MX records directly to tommy.heliohost.org for simplicity, but this is not going to cause the issue you're describing and the configuration you're using should work). Krydos can confirm the firewall stuff on our side. If there isn't anything found, this may be an Azure issue. -
Very few of us use awstats, so odds are nobody really knows. It's also listed as deprecated in Plesk... Perhaps Krydos would know?

[Krydos] Question regarding AWStats
kittforhire replied to kittforhire's topic in Escalated Requests
Nobody an idea? In AWStats it says: Last update 08 Jun 2026 - 19:50 -
That error looks more like the FROM address is wrong. If I'm reading that right, Windows mail is trying to send email on behalf of unqsoft@gmx.com using Tommy as the mail server. That will never work simply because Tommy isn't allowed to send mail for the gmx domain. You probably need to change the FROM address to match whatever mailbox you created on Tommy. I went ahead and set DKIM and SPF up on your main domain since its the only one on your account that's actually hosted here at the moment, but I suspect its the above mail settings issue in your client causing that error.

[Solved] IP Range Rate Limited 41.36.132.153

We had to block a bunch of IP ranges since bots were attacking the Wiki last weekend. Your IP is probably in one of the ranges. This support request is being escalated to our root admins so they can unblock you. -

Hello, I have been using my Azure students benefits currently and migrated some of my sites to Azure VM. Since azure do not allow mailing using its server IP, I was using heliohost for mailing purposes. Two of my sites that require mail services to run properly suddenly stopped sending mail (Though it was fine even after the migration). I checked the error log and found SMTP connection error. I have done the following checks already- 1. ufw not blocking SMTP ports 2. The Network firewall rules in Azure portal allows SMTP ports 3. Mail server domain is not proxied by cloudflare 4. Mail DNS records including spf are correct Since these are not creating the problem, the most probable problem might be the IP blocklist by Tommy. Can you please check if 20.41.113.135 is blocked or not. Domains: 1. dmcbonesbank.org (Username: msbsurfi) 2. hhfn.org.bd (Username: hhfn) Regards, MD Shifat Bin Siddique

Question on upgrading to a VPS account
KazVee replied to hostmysiteplease's topic in Customer Service
You can keep the hosting plan and have a VPS, that's not against the Terms of Service at all. Any data you want put onto the VPS, you would move there yourself. Hestia haven't yet released their version for Ubuntu 26, so if you want Hestia, you'll need to get Ubuntu 24 installed instead. -
