    Domain Limits

We're increasing the domain limit on the Morty server from 10 to 15! After a year of running our newest plan, Morty, we are still seeing great performance. This plan has nearly perfect uptime, great speeds, and Apache still restarts quite quickly. Therefore we are increasing the domain limit on Morty. If you need more than 15 domains you're welcome to create multiple Morty accounts, or switch to one of our VPS plans which allow unlimited domains. On the other hand, our free Johnny plan is still quite overcrowded and slow. In order to help speed up the server we're reducing the domain limit from 10 to 5. Our mission as a non-profit is to provide free hosting to as many people in need as we can. Our mission is NOT to provide free hosting to just a few people who each have a ridiculous number of domains. We think it best supports our mission to set a reasonable limit to make sure a few entitled people don't hog all of our free resources. If you need more than 5 domains you can make a one-time donation of only $2 to move to Tommy and have 10 domains available, or upgrade to Morty or a VPS. There are a few Johnny users who currently have more than 5 domains, and they will be allowed to keep their current domains for now, but if they want to add or change any of their domains, they will be required to comply with our new limit or upgrade to a plan that supports more domains. Let us know if you have any questions about the updating domain limits.

  5. Hello, Understood. Could you please clarify which specific Terms of Service violation is associated with my account? The ShadowForge Webstack is a personal, non-commercial, open-source project, and there is no hosting resale, monetization, or prohibited content involved. I am fully willing to adjust, remove, or simplify any configuration if something is not compliant. Please let me know how I can resolve this and restore the account to good standing. Thank you for your time and assistance.
  6. THANKS DUDE! GREAT JOB YOU ARE AWESOME!
  7. Replaced .jo3.org with .linkpc.net as its broken. Added that to the description.

  9. The domain ajira.org.uk is not configured properly at the registrar. Specifically, it has no A records set: https://bybyron.net/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=ajira.org.uk&rec=A You need to either create A records pointed to the IPs shown in Plesk, or set the domain's name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org.
  10. Nearly the entire account is being wasted by session temp files in your news site: root@morty [/home/chrisohps.helioho.st/news.burken.com/src/var/sessions]# du -sh 850M . I deleted enough of them to get you under 1000MB again, but would recommend deleting the rest and modifying your code to clean these up after a period of time. I see files in there dating back to early 2025... Your domains can take up to 2 hours to function again.

  12. Redis is available on the VPS plans which start at $4 per month. https://heliohost.org/vps/ It's already installed on Tommy's PHP 7.4 https://php74.krydos1.heliohost.org/
  13. I still don't have any new ideas why this is timing out for you on both Tommy and Johnny. We haven't had anyone else report any issues connecting to MariaDB remotely, and I've tested it from a dozen different locations and they can all connect to MariaDB on both Tommy and Johnny without any issues. The fact that it's saying "timed out" rather than like "permission denied" or some other error means it's a network issue of some sort because you're not even getting to MariaDB for it to be a username, password, or server side configuration. Let us know if you ever figure it out.
  14. I got a 10/10, thanks for the help setting it up. Everything mail-wise is working as intended.
  15. Much appreciated!
  16. I just went to add these and learned that Plesk does not support creating aliases to a subdomain (it can only alias the actual addon domain). The below aliases cannot be created as a result: teste.centralmacatuba.dpdns.org mcp.centralmacatuba.qzz.io cdn.centralmacatuba.qzz.io cdn.centralmacatuba.dpdns.org
  17. Domain added. it can take up to 2 hours to start working.
  18. Added. You can use A and AAAA records to point the domain to us. The IP addresses needed will be visible in Plesk below the domain options once the domain finishes adding. The domain can take up to 2 hours to function.
  19. Credit added. Your account now has $27.0519 in its balance. Thank you for your payment.
  20. Hello! Just in case you weren't aware, you are allowed to ask for more than 1 domain to be added in a post. 🙂 I've added that domain to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache

  23. I tried forwarding all my cancian@ateus.net to ateusnet@gmail.com, just to join both accounts, it didn't work due to the 10 mails/hour limit. Ok, but now I can't seem to disable that, and every time I send an email to cancian@ateus.net I get another copy at ateusnet@gmail.com. External emails don't get forwarded. Could you check if there is some sort of loop going on? I've deleted and rebuilt all the mail accounts, and this doesn't disable the forwarding. And the logs say I'm somehow sending too much mail.
