  2. We've blocked the IP in question, updated your email address, and unsuspended you. Please remove whatever telegram is connecting to, as it's either broken or too heavy to run on Johnny. If you want to continue hosting that here, you'll need a VPS for it.

  4. Curious what Krydos says about this, but it seems like this would basically be the digital equivalent of mailing us a gift card and telling us redeem the GC as payment since an actual payment can't be processed... Question for you: If you buy one of these cards, are you able to load it into your Paypal account then send the paypal balance via email address? I know our site doesn't let you use paypal balance as a payment method, but Paypal's own website used to let you do this by entering an email address. If that option still exists you can enter admin@heliohost.org as the recipient and it should come to us.
  5. You should be using johnny.heliohost.org as the database server hostname. Also, the error you're getting makes me think you have the DB settings wrong somewhere else in your code, as it's mentioning 'lsvcam_webcamLSVdbUser'@'www640.your-server.de' If this were set up correctly on your end, that bold part should be showing johnny.heliohost.org.
  6. Hello, I would like to review the Tommy (Previously used), Morty and VPS. I have no problem with Morty. But the speed of connection of VPS is sometimes annoying. I think the internet speed of the virtual server fluctuates (10Mbps or more to 100 kbps), I have tested that my connection is ok and can download/upload more MBs than the download speed from sites hosted in the VPS. Even when I was downloading the files, the other sites load much slowly. Is there any option to enhance the upload/download speed of the VPS. Or does storage type (SSD/HDD) causes slow transfer? I know it is a good practice to keep downloadable files in CDN buckets, but we don't want to take the hassle, and as we have enough storage in the server, we'd like to keep those files in the server. Is there any way to keep the speed constant? Regards, MD Shifat Bin Siddique

  8. Both SMTPmart and Brevo are good options, but they serve slightly different needs. SMTPmart is focused more on bulk email sending and is known for its simplicity and good delivery rates. Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) offers a full marketing platform with more features like automation and analytics, but it can be a bit complex for beginners.
  9. Johnny doesn't support PostGIS because he's too old. Same with Tommy. Right now only Morty and VPS plans support PostGIS. If you'd like to make sure Morty can do what you need we can give you a week trial, and if everything works the way you want you can make a payment to stay on that server. We will be upgrading Tommy and Johnny to support PostGIS too, but it may be a few months out still.

  11. And to give a more thorough idea of just how dumb this was, your actions caused nearly 3000 other websites across 988 other users to experience an outage.
  12. Odds are you’re probably sharing a network or a computer with someone else who has an account. Either way, since the other account is still suspended and we haven’t heard from the other user, you’ve been unsuspended. it may take a few minutes to work again.

  17. DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain fallbork.helioho.st. We recommend sending a real email (not just the word "test" or a blank email) to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be.
  18. Yes, you can have up to 10 domains associated with your account, including domains you purchased with a registrar or free domains like .helioho.st or .heliohost.us. Only staff members can add domains at the moment.
  19. For others who may read this, yes you do. Marking solved.
  20. Third party DNS is not supported for helioho.st and heliohost.us subdomains. This restriction is intentional and is for two reasons: Some providers don't understand that the subdomains can be owned by different users. CF used to be one of the biggest offenders of this, though apparently it does recognize the subdomains separately now. Prevents users from pointing our domains to a third-party host. This is to prevent someone from doing something like hosting a phishing site on a third-party server where we can't scan for abuse/investigate/ban them, and getting the entire domain blacklisted.
  21. Marking solved because the user deleted the entire account.
  22. Domains added, will take effect in about two hours. You'll need to update your DNS if you're not using HelioHost's nameservers.
  23. What subdomain would you like to add? we need to know the full domain name such as subdomain.example.com
  24. No. SSH is not available on any Plesk plan for security reasons. A VPS is required if you need this access.
  25. Domains added. They can take up to two hours to function.
  26. Unsuspended. It may take a few minutes to work again. Please let us know if you need anything else.
  27. Those 502 bad gateway messages are normal, they occur every two hours as part of apache restarting. See https://wiki.helionet.org/502_Bad_Gateway The topic for the old server monitor service has been removed.
  28. Unpinned since this service appears to no longer be functional and an official status page is available. For current status information, please see https://status.heliohost.org/
  29. Domain added. it can take up to 2 hours to start working.
