The .org domains were discontinued for regular users back in 2021. We were forced to move users to a different domain because users kept getting their account hacked or setting up abuse (like phishing sites) and getting the main heliohost.org website blacklisted on places like Facebook. Users that had them prior to that date were allowed to keep them until they were removed from the account (which in the case of the Johnny crash, everyone on Johnny had their domains removed). The helioho.st and heliohost.us domains are the replacements. If you need it back temporarily, it can be added as an alias that redirects to your new domain, however, there will be a time when they stop working entirely for users. Do you want me to do that?

Request to change account email address (Institutional email expiring)

You can change this in Plesk. Go to Plesk then click your username in the upper right->Edit Profile and update the contact info. Once updated, it can take a few hours before our website dashboard and login page reflects the change. If you're unable to change it for some reason, please let us know and we'll manually send an email to your old email address to verify your identity, then update it on our side. -

If there's specific files you need, we can look at grabbing those for you. Please specify the exact file or database names. It may take a while to get you the data, as we have to manually review it to ensure nothing illegal is in the files we provide. We do not provide full backups of hacked accounts because they contain malware and may contain illegal content as well (e.g. data collected by a phishing site if one was set up). -

I checked your VPS120 and it is already powered on. After you pay for an expired VPS it should power itself on automatically so you don't need to urgently contact us, but if something goes wrong and it doesn't power itself back on within 30 minutes or so you could let us know. Once we receive the support request we will try to get a response to you within 24 hours.

Yep, Morty never has 502 errors because there are far fewer domains on that server, and it only takes Apache 10 seconds or so to restart. Morty also uses graceful restarts so the old Apache threads continue serving requests while the new Apache threads load up the configuration. On the free hosting plans we use hard Apache restarts which shows 502 errors for a minute or two every time Apache is restarted. The backup you downloaded is a full backup from 2024-07-25. I have removed the old backup and added a partial backup from 2026-05-09 when the Johnny server was powered off. To download the new backup just go to https://heliohost.org/backup and request a new link. After downloading the new backup let us know if you're still missing anything.

This person had a VPS, not a Plesk account. I'm not sure where they changed their email address. Maybe on the forum? VPS don't automatically update their email address from the forum if you change the forum email address. This person has already deleted their VPS for some reason though so I guess we'll just mark it as solved. @thywickedone If you deleted your VPS because you can't change your email address, we can change the email address and rebuild it for you. For VPS by default we just set the email address to whatever your PayPal account is using.

It is completely possible it was hit by bots or the like. You may want to review your logs and see if there's an unusually large number of requests (especially ones that look like they're searching for vulnerabilities or beating on the login page) and block them with .htaccess.

Domain added, will take effect in about an hour. If you're not using HelioHost's nameservers, you'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Johnny's IP for the domain to work. Your username is the name you use to login at https://heliohost.org/login. We can sometimes find your hosting account from your forum username, but they're not always linked. Unless you set xn--plised-pxa.ee as your main domain during the registration process, it's not currently possible to add domains by yourself.
