Why did you unsubscribe from our emails? Was it a mistake? Why did you expect to get an email after telling us you didn't want to receive any emails anymore?

You can actually do this yourself. Log into your account at https://heliohost.org/login/ -> Continue to Plesk->Click your username in the upper right corner->Edit Profile. Please note that once you change the email, it can take several hours for systems to sync up before it becomes effective for our website/dashboard. If you use your forum account, please note that it will also need to be manually changed in your forum profile. If you're unable to change your email address for some reason, please let us know and an admin can manually update it for you.

[HH#104205] Heliohost Compatibility with my script
wolstech replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
1. Yes, but the load of running something continuously often gets users suspended for excessive resource usage on the Johnny and Tommy plans. If you plan to run something continuously, Morty account might be be a better choice because there's no risk of the load getting you suspended, and the server is a LOT faster than Tommy. 2. Yes as long as the remote end is using a standard port number like 80 or 443. 3. Python 3.9 and 3.12 on Tommy. Johnny and Morty have 3.9 and 3.14 instead. 4. Can't do it yourself, but you can request we install them assuming they're reasonable. We don't support any modules that need a UI/desktop installed. 5. Depends on language used and how its launched. Its possible to start a process that never exits, but if you're planning to do this, I would suggest a Morty plan as above because the load might get you suspended. You can see more details about Python on our wiki: https://wiki.helionet.org/Python_Tutorial Including links to see installed modules, how to request modules, etc. -

Hello, I have suggested my friend to use heliohost shared hosting for his small business and he bought an one year Morty subscription. But unfortunately he is not currently using that hosting because nothing is built and the account is idle. Can you please suspend/Degrade/halt billing so remaining credits are preserved. You're suspended for using a disposable alias email address, which is prohibited by our Terms of Service. Since you provided a valid address during signup, we tried changing the address back to your original signup address for you to correct the violation, but you reversed the change triggering a suspension. Can you explain?
-
No. Temporary wouldn't really help. Thank you.

I've removed that domain from your account. Please note there is a risk of data loss when domains are removed, since the folder for the domain inside Plesk will be deleted. I made a full account backup for you before I removed the domain, in case you need any of the old files. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups Please note that your forum email address is currently attached to an email address on that domain, so unless you set up emal for the domain elsewhere, you will not be able to receive emails relating to your forum account, such as any message notifications or password resets you may need.
-
Thank you for the payment. Your account is unsuspending and will be moved to Morty shortly. You'll receive an email when the move begins, and another when the move completes (usually within a few hours). Please let us know if there's any issues once the account move completes.
-
I've added that domain for you. Please allow up to 2 hours for it to work and remember to set the nameservers or A/AAAA records.
-
It looks like you're using Porkbun NS for that domain so you'll have to add the DNS records yourself from your Porkbun account.

[Solved] DB missing after Account recreation
wolstech replied to lsvcam's topic in Escalated Requests
That's good to know. Those files can vary quite widely by server version and database content, so the fact an off the shelf AI can convert the binary InnoDB database files back into .sql format without issue is quite impressive. Thank you for the info. -

Thanks Thanks, working now -
That account was lost in a server crash back in early May. Please see these News articles for more information: https://helionet.org/index/topic/67733-when-it-rains-it-pours/ and https://helionet.org/index/topic/67995-johnny-upgrade/ You can recreate your account by trying to sign into it at https://heliohost.org/login/ A backup from 2024-07-25 is available for this account as well from https://heliohost.org/backup/. Newer files may be available, however newer databases will likely not be.
