Hello,

I have been using my Azure students benefits currently and migrated some of my sites to Azure VM. Since azure do not allow mailing using its server IP, I was using heliohost for mailing purposes. Two of my sites that require mail services to run properly suddenly stopped sending mail (Though it was fine even after the migration). I checked the error log and found SMTP connection error. I have done the following checks already-

1. ufw not blocking SMTP ports
2. The Network firewall rules in Azure portal allows SMTP ports
3. Mail server domain is not proxied by cloudflare
4. Mail DNS records including spf are correct

Since these are not creating the problem, the most probable problem might be the IP blocklist by Tommy. Can you please check if 20.41.113.135 is blocked or not.

Domains:

1. dmcbonesbank.org (Username: msbsurfi)
2. hhfn.org.bd (Username: hhfn)

Regards,

MD Shifat Bin Siddique

That IP address is not blocked on our end from what I can see. DNS on your domains looks fine (we usually recommend just setting the MX records directly to tommy.heliohost.org for simplicity, but this is not going to cause the issue you're describing and the configuration you're using should work).

Krydos can confirm the firewall stuff on our side.

If there isn't anything found, this may be an Azure issue.

Seems like they noticed the loophole you were using and blocked it.
