HelioHost Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Username: janisv03, Server: Tommy, Main domain: janisv03.heliohost.usHi please could you restore my account, it's not abandoned ________________________________ From: HelioHost Sent: 27 March 2026 21:02 To: Yiannis Voyias03 Subject: Lack Of Activity [HelioHost | Community powered free hosting for everyone.] [https://heliohost.org/images/mail/namecheap.png] [https://heliohost.org/images/mail/calendar.png]Hey Janisv03, It's been a while since we've seen you. Are you still using your hosting account? The last time you logged in was 2026-02-27. In order to keep your website active you must log into your control panel at least once every 30 days. If you wish to continue using your hosting plan you will need to log in by clicking the link below. Next, provide your email and password in the box and click log in to access your dashboard. If you don't log in sometime in the next few days your website will be replaced with a inactive page. Our apologies for requiring you to log in to your account to continue using it. We understand that once you get your website perfected there is little reason to view your control panel anymore, but if we didn't have a way of determing which accounts were abandoned our servers would quickly become even more overloaded than they already are. We have recently released a new server named Morty that doesn't have the requirement to login every 30 days to keep your account active that you may be interested in. You can take a look at your upgrade options after logging in with the button below. MoneyBroz Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Your account will not be marked as inactive if you login at https://heliohost.org/login. The login requirement is to make sure we aren't hosting abandoned accounts which waste server resources.
Krydos Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Your account was suspended because you exceeded your storage limit. You're currently at 1011.61 MB of usage and your limit is 1000 MB. You have 3 options to regain access to your account: 1. You are able to regain access to your account immediately without waiting for an admin by increasing your account's storage space. This storage space upgrade is good for the life of the account, and has no monthly cost. 2. Tell us which files you would like deleted and an admin can delete them for you to get you back under your current storage limit. If you're not sure which files are taking up all of your space an admin can provide a detailed storage space usage report for you. 3. We can also reset your account for you which deletes all files, deletes all settings, and restores your account back to the default state with 0 MB of storage usage.
Krydos Posted April 18 Posted April 18 You can upgrade your storage for option 1 at https://heliohost.org/dashboard/storage/
HelioHost Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Yes if you can delete a large file or folder.... I just can't remember the filenames off the top of my head. Is there a way for me to look at it and choose? Thanks ________________________________
Krydos Posted April 18 Posted April 18 There is a 95 MB file named kolibri.iso. Want me to delete that?
HelioHost Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 If there's any video files please delete them too, I sometimes use it to store teaching materials for my lessons, honestly I can't remember exactly what's on there. Appreciate your help. ________________________________
wolstech Posted April 18 Posted April 18 The specified file has been deleted and you've been unsuspended. The 503 error may take up to 2 hours to go away. The only other large files found were in a cache folder. In addition, while reviewing your account, it appears that a proxy may be installed (based on looking at px.php, phpxy.php, and related files in the httpdocs folder). Proxies are not allowed on Plesk accounts per our Terms of Service. Please delete these scripts and all related files within 24 hours. If you wish to run a proxy, they are allowed on our VPS plans.
HelioHost Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 Understood, thank you. ________________________________
wolstech Posted April 19 Posted April 19 We just reviewed your account after 24 hours to confirm proxy removal, and noticed you removed the PHP proxy as requested, only to instead set up a NodeJS proxy. This is still a violation of the terms of service. Absolutely NO proxies or tunnelling software is allowed on Plesk accounts, regardless of the implementation or programming language used. We've seen it all, PHP proxies, python proxies, node proxies, vless/xray proxies wrapped in nodejs, Cloudflare tunnels daemons launched via node and disguised as temp files, etc. All of these violate the TOS and are prohibited. As a result, you've been suspended again. Please let us know when you're ready to remove the new proxy you installed and we'll unsuspend you again.
HelioHost Posted April 20 Author Posted April 20 Hi that was from before, I didn't do anything after you asked me to get rid of those files (which I did). Also it had been turned off but maybe it started because you unsuspended my account? Feel free to delete whatever you think is in breach of your ToS. I can't login so there's nothing I can do on my end. ________________________________
wolstech Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The node proxy has also been removed and you've been unsuspended. Your site should work again within the next two hours. The files do look like they were there since February, so it is quite likely we missed them on our side during the inspection when they should've been included in the list of things that needed to be removed. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
