Hi,

I want to host some of my websites on your Morty server, but when I tried
to pay the $19 fee with my debit card, I realized you're using PayPal to
collect the payment, which I will never use nor support after the funds
freeze they imposed on WikiLeaks in 2010.

Is there an alternate way to pay the fee? Can I pay directly with my debit
card without going through PayPal? The thing is forcing me to create an
account before I can even pay you guys, and I simply refuse to give my
personal data?let alone my money?to that abusive, miserable company.

Please let me know if there's another way to do this so I can start using
your services ASAP.

Thank you,

-Horacio

Hey,
Just checking in to see how the process is going to upgrade my account to
Morty. As I already informed you, I made the $19 payment on Thursday
(04/30):
I noticed the forums were down yesterday, and they're back up this morning
but the thread about my request for a different payment method is closed
again, and the latest messages are gone.
So what's up? When can I expect the upgrade?
Thanks.

Sorry for the delay on responding to this email. Our main website, forum, email system, and nameservers were down for a few days for repairs. You can read more about it at https://helionet.org/index/topic/67623-when-servers-explode/

I see the $19 Stripe payment, but you mentioned "how the process is going to upgrade my account to Morty?" Does this mean you have an existing account on Tommy or Johnny. If so, what is the username so we can move the existing account. If you don't already have an account, or if you would like to start on Morty with a fresh account, we could send you an invite for a new Morty account instead.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I was getting a bit worried!

Yes, I already have an account in Johnny:

Username: admagnya

No need to keep the Johnny account, so yes, please move it to Morty as soon
as you get a chance.

Thank you.

I have started your account moving to Morty, and increased your balance to $24 ($19 plus $5 bonus). I see you're using Cloudflare, so make sure to pay attention to the second email that instructs you what new A and AAAA DNS records to use. You'll need to login to Cloudflare and update the DNS records as instructed. Failure to update your DNS will result in your website going offline after 6 hours or so. Thanks for upgrading to Morty and thanks for your patience, and our apologies again for the long delay getting this taken care. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

Got it. I'll change the DNS information on my CF account once I get your
next email.
And thank you for the $5 bonus there! I appreciate it ?
Awaiting your next instructions...

That account moved to Morty back on May 5th successfully. The system should have automatically sent you an email at that time with the DNS instructions when it was finished. Did you not receive that email?

If for some reason you did not receive that email (maybe it went to spam?), the IP addresses you should use for your new Morty account use are these:

IPv4: 65.19.154.93

IPv6: 2001:470:1:1ee::1011

No, I didn't get any email and there's nothing in my spam folder.
Ok, thanks for the info. I'll let you know if I have additional questions.

What about FTP? What's the host and port?
morty.heliohost.org? 1373?

Host for SFTP should be morty2.heliohost.org (Morty2 is the upgraded Morty we recently announced, which is where your account is)

Port: 1373 for SFTP

K, I think I'm all set. Thank you.
